5:30 a.m. is almost a full hour from sunrise (6:22 a.m.). You can do any chore within the time including manually washing a few clothes.

If your workplace can’t be reached within the thirty minutes of 6:30 - 07:00 a.m. then I suggest you work elsewhere or move to another city. Living in Lagos does not mean one should aim for a premature death from falling asleep on the wheel or highway robbery. There are already too many cars on the road to guarantee a high chance of catching lung cancer.

Do not risk your mortality for a job with an expiry date.

It's good to wake up early. It all depends on your schedule and work pattern. This thread assumes a 9-5 scenario. Some ppl work all night and some start work at noon. With that being said. It's good to start out early for whatever schedule or appointments. It puts you at an advantage and you're able to plan your day accordingly.

A 9-5 scenario is the most common situation for people around the world. Those with outlier existences are free to do whatever. I'm not in a position to advice them because I've never lived the life.

I lived with my sister who always woke up at 4:30 a.m. I protested most of the time because it was beginning to affect her physically. Her children were in university and independent so there was no reason whatsoever to wake up so early. The funny part is the schedule made her fall asleep by 8 p.m. on the dot daily. There were no breaks in her life as Sundays saw her wake up the same time as other days.

they are not telling you the truth,most couples wake up then,have sex and then the man falls right asleep for the lazy ones. The wives stand up to cook and prepare for school runs.
