That arm would have been strategically utilized better in another way to bring peace, even using it to write the least article of peace to the world.

The people inventing and producing war missiles are not doing so by getting their arms maimed/useless. They are doing it with their brain, IQ and full functioning arms. With their brain and IQ, their own war belief comes to manifestation. Their own belief works but this old man, his belief didn't work because he didn't use his IQ to pursue his aim so it's ended up a mere superstition put up by him.

Better results could have been achieved towards his aim had it been he formed a peace movement and keeps recruiting people who advocate for peace into the peace movement year by year. The movement would have been a multi million members movement by today that may even give birth to so many other peace movements across the world.

All I see in him is an attention seeker.
