How about tourist? They won’t bring money into UK?…..This is not an argument though

He is asking, how is it SCIENTIFICALLY okay for Workers and Student to travel.

He is not referring to ECONOMICAL aspect.

It’s just like saying you can’t have Covid because you are a student or worker grin

The UK is very protective of its education sector. The average citizen pays like 1/10 of what we pay, that iis big money for the education sector. Same reason they not only restored but extended the duration of post-study work visa for immigrant students of which a large majority are from developing countries.

Dear all. I'm reposting cos I haven't got any response. Thanks for your help.

I would like information for admission for my brother in law.

1. He's 40 years old. He has a wife who is gainfully employed and they have 2 children. THey are landlords. He"s self-employed and has a profitable business, so he can sponsor himself comfortably.
2. He runs a transportation business, i.e. he transports goods up country.
3. Who can please advise a good course for him to apply for and a University that is easy to get admission. This process is to enable the family to relocate later.
4. How possible is it for his wife and children to relocate using this plan? Or what other plan is possible for them?
5. Thanks for your advice and guidance.

he needs to decide what course he wants to study, apply directly to a university and get admission. The process is not hard. To stay back or to come in with family is only possible on a post graduate degree not undergraduate. His wife and children can den travel alongside him as a family. It is very possible as tier 4 uk student visa allows this. After 1 year of study or 2 years which ever is faster for his msc then they can apply for post study visa of 2 years

thre options
1. Apply for turkish e visa online, with a uk visa u will get it instantly. D e visa will be emailed to u. In 2019 it was about 40k. Book a hotel, travel via turkish airlines and go to turkey and spend 10 days. On the 11th day buy a ticket to the uk and continue ur journey.hotels in turkey are cheap.
2. Contact her employer, if they are able to provide assistance financially with this hotel money or able to get an exemption letter to help avoid paying this fee. Write it very well. That this cost will cause great financial burden to her.
3. Get another fellow who is also travellin. They should agree to travel on same flight and quarantine together. This way the bill for 2 ppl comes down to 3715 pounds which is roughly 1856 pounds per head as against 2300. They can even be 3 that decide to travel together and buy ticket like that together, this also brings cost down significantly . You will however need to do a group of 3 and above as a family booking through contacting dem bvia email at familybookingmqs@travelctm.com

Good morning nairaland family,

I knew everyone here are worried about Uk staurt by putting Nigeria on red list. I pray by the time they will lift the ban everyone here will receive a good news on our visa application Amen.

Please kindly help me contribute in this issue of mine...

I have prepared to apply for my visit visa to Uk before the Uk listed Nigeria on the redlist.

My monthly income take home is 550k and monthly disposable is 100k, but yesterday I bought a car of 1.5m for my wife from my salary account. Now I'm worried if that would be a red flag for me although the description on the alert indicating that car gift for me wife.

I'm thinking I should write a cover letter and supporting it with car receipt , car ownership and car allocation to prove? Because the 1.5m will be reflecting on my monthly expenses of December which is more than my monthly expenses of 100k.

Please I need your advise can I write a covered letter explaining it or I should start afresh to build a clean account?

My acct balance is 3.350m by the time I will receive my salary this month it will be 3.9m

Please advise

There's no harm in explaining it in your cover letter. Any issue you feel may be questionable, just address it in a cover letter.

OMG!!!!! so pple are really booking for this hotel. Nigeria!!!!! so pple have this kind of money to give to the UK? OMG!!!! i am in pain here and crying. How can the UK ease its ban and remove Nigeria from red list when our pple have started paying this money.
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by cutebear: 3:58pm On Dec 09, 2021
There are people trying to reunite with their families, resume school or begin their careers. So, getting into the Uk ASAP is very important to them. Although, I still think it's better to spend that time and money chilling in a more deserving country instead of being locked up in a hotel/prison with their rubbish food for 10 days. To each, their own
