Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide has maintained that Igbos will not kneel before the Northerners or any group for the 2023 Presidency. https://tribuneonlineng.com/north-should-be-on-its-knees-begging-for-an-igbo-president-in-2023-%E2%80%95-ohanaeze/ 56 Likes 6 Shares

Okay... The North is strongly opposed to Igbo presidency, and it's a wonder. Empirically, it's ideal for power to flow to the South East zone, to allow for an administration by new heads. Igbos will continue to detest Nigeria, and the logic is simple. 78 Likes 5 Shares |

This is exactly how it should be. Nigeria as a whole should be begging Igbos to provide an intellectual (not Rochas and OUK) who will try and at least undo the economic havoc Saint Buhari hoisted on them in the past 7 years but no, they are too proud. It will further give Nigerians a tangible excuse to give when Igbos demand Biafra or complain of the running marginalization. I said, same way Nigeria always beg Igbos for unity is how they should be begging for Igbo presidency only more aggressively. If they were not selfish and wicked people whose only interest is to see Igbos suffer with them in the gaping monster shithole created by Lugard followed by Fulani and Yoruba presidents. Thank God Nigerians are not listening and will likely never do this. It would have bewn a disadvantage to Igbos in our agitation for our separate peaceful, fair and organic country which is already written. He who the gods want to kill, they will make mad and block his ears first. SAY NO TO IGBO PRESIDENCY. We DON'T WANT. WE WANT BIAFRA. They should go and beg Thiefnubui to become president of Nigeria or even make Booboo life president. ![]() 86 Likes 4 Shares

Rather than play the right politics this Ohanaeze is still grandstanding and weakening the chance of potential igbo candidates. The problem of the igbo man is himself 52 Likes 9 Shares |

There you have it zombies... Igbos don’t bend the knee for any idiot. Deny us 2023 presidency and see even Umahi, OUK, Okorocha, etc, all become IPOB. Nigeria has the opportunity to correct decades of ill in 2023 or to set in motion, decades of chaos. The choice is for una. 68 Likes 3 Shares |

Vistra40: If others don't respect you, won't you respect yourself? Why is it that whenever it comes to the Igbos, you all suddenly become advocates, special advisers,lecturers,etc... The best thing then should be to let them go and not thus nonsense everyday 56 Likes 4 Shares |

conductor20000: Dude, calm down. First off, am not a yoruba but a south easterner like you. Secondly, am not the type that comes to Nairaland to fight tribal battles. Thirdly, follow my history in this forum and you would see that my views are always objective. I even attack those who denigrate igbos in the name of bigotry and criticize igbos alike. My comments are based on what I think is right than to be emotional about it. Is it time for an igbo presidency? Yes! Are they playing the right politics to earn it? No! People like OUK, Rochas and until recently Anyim are making efforts but the attitude of our people isn’t helping. And oh for the fulanis that you said they kill, relax. Each time they attack IPOB(even though I don’t agree with their strategy entirely) I quickly fire back by reminding them about banditry up north. So relax bro and don’t be too emotional cos am not the type that would do something just to appeal to emotions 22 Likes 1 Share |

AfonjaConehead: Look bro, I am igbo like you so be calm. I was quite disappointed with what Elder Ezeife about kneeling to others just to get presidency. I saw the reaction from northerners to that statement on social media. It is not in our culture to bow to anyone. Why is Isiguzoro amplifying the issue but in the reverse? Let’s play the right politics and we’ll get the presidency. At least few people like OUK, Rochas are making efforts. I equally attack people here who denigrate the igbos. Follow my history here and you would know who I am 5 Likes |

I have a feeling that a good Igbo president will fix this country's problems but nepotism won't allow that to happen so it's to your tent oh Israel. 32 Likes 1 Share |

Vistra40:Ok I get and understand you very well.. I'm very sure Ezeife was simply trying to build some bridges but did so in a funny way and one can't help but get really pissed by these evil wicked northerners, just see their reactions!!!! Who the hell do they think they are?! These are parasites who depend on other people to survive but got the loudest proudest mouth!!! Parts of balyesa state are being ravaged by serious oil spill and the gov spoke but guess what the bloody arewa youths were saying, that the gov is playing politics with his statements!!!!! Just imagine!!!! This is why I get pissed with the yorubas for always giving these good4nothing people mouth to talk, servants lording it on supposed princes! Well have a great day and I'm not Igbo,I'm Edo..all I'm after is a south liberated from these northern parasites 34 Likes 1 Share |

SE shouldn't expect presidency be given without sweating for it. If there's any ibo man that can boast of getting supports across the country, let him prove himself. You wouldn't have burnt all available bridges and later ask arrogantly to be given president. We have only 2 tribes deciding for Nigeria which are Yoruba and Haúsá/fulani. Others are just mere spectators. They are known as Èrò iworan ![]() 20 Likes 5 Shares |
