I tell u they are smart to have fixed it on that date...If not as u said.. .. There was one I attended in Owerri Imo State long time ago.. because the groom was my friend's elder brother...

They held their reception at the hall of Alvan Ikoku college of Education in the state...The students gathered in their numbers..

When they said 4 people should come out to witness and comment on the cutting of cake, 6 of them rushed out... 2 later eliminated themselves...I don't even wanna talk about eating and taking away drinks...

When it was time to do gift presentation, the Coast became clear...
That actually made me feel sorry for any couple who might be caught unawares hosting a reception in school premises...

Those students will make u feel embarrassed if the food and drinks was not actually enough for the real invited guests..

I'd rather have my reception on Lagos-Ibadan expressway, than in a university, especially when the students are around

Attended one back then in Unilag. These students occupied all the seats inside. We, the invited guests had to sit outside and some even went home.

The best way to have events there is to pay for Policemen or Soldiers to check each guest.
