Thanks a lot. We have done it, but we selected the option that the document was not requested by IRCC. Please do we need to resubmit the webform and select that the document was requested by IRCC? The Original application was submitted two weeks ago GraciousWords: |

Jimisola14:SAY NO TO FAKE NEWS *The Story of the Deported Nigerian Family* The story of the Nigerian family that was purportedly deported due to quarantine regulation infraction may not be true. In all probability, it was fabricated somewhere in Ontario. My conclusion is the result of my investigation (as a concerned Nigerian and as a Canadian lawyer) which involved speaking with the deputy ambassador of the Nigerian High Commission, the president of a Nigerian organization in Toronto, and an examination of relevant Canadian laws. Here is the basis of my conclusion: *1* . The Nigerian High Commission flatly denied being contacted over any Nigerian with such a deportation problem or being involved in trying to stop such deportation. It insists that its alleged involvement in the deportation saga was blatant falsehood. *2* . No Nigerian organization in Toronto has publicly acknowledged being aware of the case. *3* . The penalty for breaking quarantine rules is a civil fine, not imprisonment or deportation, and this penalty is equally applicable to every Canadian citizen, PR holder, student permit holder, work permit holder or visitor. *4* . The process of deporting a PR holder ( like the alleged Nigerian family) is legally cumbersome and always takes years to conclude. A PR holder must, generally speaking, be convicted of an offence and serve the prison term, before the process of deportation will commence. And even when the process starts, he can appeal a lower court decision to deport him. The process takes years to conclude. Canada, like most Western nations, does not deport residents without due process of law. Such arbitrariness, as is described in the story of the Nigerian family going the rounds, is the hallmark of Third World countries' broken systems. So, while I urge us to strictly comply with all Covid-19 protocols, including quarantine regulations (where applicable), I advise that we discountenance the story in question. Thank you. - Soye President 7 Likes |

Good evening my people. Compliments of the season. I received an additional family information request letter this morning. Howver,i didn't include any new family members of recent. Reading online on how to fill the form(IMM5406),i notoced myself and my spouse have to fill the forms and for each form we gave to include our parents and also our siblings. My question is when i was filling my application,in the part where we were supppsed to list all our family members(even if they wouldnt be immigrating to canada),my spouse couldnt get the date of birth of his mum and his siblings and because we thought since he was not the primary applicant and they wouldnt be going to canada,we didnt fill for him. If we have to fill the additional family member forms now, should we still include his siblings and mum or we should leave it as we did? I dont know if that is the reason we got the request form in the first place. Should we fill it in? Wouldn't it lead to misrepresentation? We have just four days to fill the form and submit back to IRCC. |

Diaperssbabies: No harm either way, your call. My thinking was PCC is a required doc so it's requested by IRCC. I may be wrong. |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by GraciousWords: 7:39pm On Dec 10, 2021 |
Denerystormborn: I think both PA and dependent spouse are supposed to complete the family section (including parents and siblings) in an eAPR. There is a confirmation question afterwards saying "Have you told us about all Mr XYZ'S relatives" If you didn't do it for your spouse, maybe this is why you got an ADR for it. I may be wrong though. If it were me, I'd complete the 5406 accurately and add an LOE about my previous misunderstanding of the requirement. 2 Likes |

Denerystormborn: Please fill his family details. It's not really difficult putting a call through to them and asking them for their details. Tomorrow there might be need for them to come to Canada too. IRCC sent that cos it's compulsory, even if they're dead. And also, there's a place in the drop down for date of birth where you can select "unknown" Hope this helps 1 Like |

jwizzy: I think after receiving your report there is a short window to appeal or write for any corrections ?? Has it passed ?? . This is a very dicey situation because you have gotten ITA , maybe you could use an affidavit or LOE incase you don’t get in touch with them before the elapse of your ITA . https://www.nairaland.com/4657743/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/308 https://www.nairaland.com/4212543/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/53 |

Hi guys, When I got ITA, I think I remember being asked if I'm choosing to pay the RPRF when submitting my application, and I think I ticked yes. (Can't even say if this really happened or I was on a different site cos I've tried to find the page and I can't). Anyway now I'm rethinking paying the RPRF with my application cos it's a lot of money to spend now and if rather pay it sometime next year b4 it's even requested. Problem now is, I don't remember if it was somewhere in my application that I selected that I was going to pay it no awnd if I did, does that mean I have to pay it now or is there still a place down the line in the application where I'd be given the option to not pay it right now. I hope someone understands my question |

Allegory: If you have not paid RPRF, you can pay post AOR on your own or when IRCC requests it. Read FAQ 39 of this post from page 1 for more details https://www.nairaland.com/6829885/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled#107239809 To check if you paid RPRF at AOR, log into GCKey, follow the steps in this post, https://www.nairaland.com/6081746/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/424#98698362 scroll to the bottom of the page, the list of your payments should be there. 3 Likes 3 Shares |

GraciousWords:I haven't submitted my application yet, still waiting to do upfront medicals first. Guess what I want to know is, at the end of the application would I be given the option to pay the application fee without the RPRF |

jwizzy: I had a similar issue. I contacted WES via email and I was told to contact my school to rectify my dob on my transcripts and then resend. Upon receiving the new transcripts, my evaluation report was updated within a week. Contact WES to be sure before proceeding. Good luck. 1 Like
