The confidence behind the ban by the UK, Canada , Saudi and Israel they know their native folks ain't going to be stressed. They might lose few millions of dollars though, but what's that fraction in their GDP? 10 Likes 1 Share |

Nigeria government should not fight the battle she cannot win. Those countries in question have nothing to gain from Nigeria and banning these airlines from coming to Nigeria no comot a strand of hair from these countries dem. Na we dey benefit from dem, not the other way round. 5 Likes |

I don't like Buhari but I support him on this one. China gave the world Okoro vbirus, the world did not end, just that they detected an offshoot of the same virus in Africa, everyone is banning our people from coming to their shores. if only our leaders will focus on building a better Africa. 18 Likes |

Maxymilliano: Quote coming from a shallow mind . No foreign country will align with an African Nation if there’s nothing to gain if you don’t know. The money one British company is earning here cannot be compared to what a Thousands of Nigerian are earning in the UK. They’ll do anything(British) to see Nigeria not divide because of their companies over here. 3 Likes |

Yes Britain doesn’t have the moral rights bt Covid19 travel protocol adherence for Nigerian travellers who are way more than Uk travellers is the issue with Nigeria to a larger degree. They should work it out. |

Am disappointed with the responses I'm seeing here . Of course UK is a white man's country why won't y'all lick ass? Yes Nigeria is somewhat at fault due to its sloppy protocol towards COVID 19 adherence and management , but most of these claims by the British is more on a political note than fairness. Cases of Omicron was first detected in Europe before Africa, why haven't these European countries been placed on travel ban lists? More to come ... 2 Likes |

These white people are just funny. Always picking on Nigerians at the slightest chance they get. Why didn’t they ban US, China…..and other countries that have been hit by COVID? I support the FG on this, let there be a retaliatory move to drive home their point. |

My problem with all this is Nigeria making noise about this whole saga and turning it to a furore. They should have gone ahead to retaliate almost immediately after Naija was put on a travel ban by each of these countries and then give one flimsy excuse through NCDC/PTF. Just exactly as they responded behind the scenes to Saudi Arabia's denial of slots to Air Peace and left everything in the hands of Sirika to manage in public. By now, I'm quite certain that the high commissions of these nations involved would have sat at a round table to work out a way forward. But then, FG has ruined it all by going to issue a statement to retaliate. |
