The same happened to me last year ,I lost 170,000 to this people, we were about 30person's some paying different amount the place I paid 170k for about 2 others paid 200k and 250k respectively
The place is at abule ado, ijegun satellite town some broke the gate and collect any room of there choice, No water no septic tanker... Most of the people that for into the place first are still staying there. Please lets shine our eyes oo

I must see the house owner or the current tenant confirm to me the mode of payment before I send my money.

What if you pay and take key, you reach there the next day, dem don change the lock?

The best is to do your due diligence before paying.
