...the UK and the every other ban is a game of politics, Nigeria was in the race for the IMO Category C seat and we have the best chance to win that sit because of the success we recorded in the maritime sector not just on Nigerian waters but up to the Gulf of Guinea, A week to the election is when all those banning started falling-in hence the Nigerian Contingent that have make so much effort throughout the year because Nigeria plan to attain this seat since we lost out the last time, the reason FG invest heavily in maritime security, the team could not travel and the election is holding physically in London, we couldn't be on ground to further our campaign. and the Ministry of Health did not help by announcing the discovery of Omicron at that crucial time. Now, how would the Category C help Nigerians, the Nigeria Govt. through NIMASA have been campaigning for the removal of War Risk Insurance from Nigeria bound cargo (simply means shippers paid quadruple of whatever they are suppose to paid on any goods coming to Nigeria, which is directly or indirectly paid by the consumer you and i) been a council member gives us a better chance of getting the reduction and we can also leverage on this when making our case with International Trade Organization and International Chambers of Shipping. Nigerian govt is making effort if you don't know you don't know, the pace might be slow but people are asking questions and making effort. that is the reason FG bite back at the UAE, i expect them to also bite the other nations too (maybe a subtle bite) you cant help other nations to keep us in their net and claim to be our friend. tshtsh: These reflect my thoughts as well. The present crop of youth voices in the public domain is worrisome if it reflects the potential future of Nigerian leadership. Ignorance is not the problem, its the arrogance that comes with their ignorance and refusal to learn that theres a systematic way states are run and managed. And that this is unique to each country. Its annoying tobsee that arrogance excused with the supposed more important credential of youth voices. The solution is to counter the arrogant and ignorant voices with knowledge on the right processes as much as possible through fora such as this. For all you know that may be the only knowledge they will aqquire for future engagement on such topics. But its better than nothing |

Like I stated early here is an example from the many foolish Igbos I mentioned. This dull head does not understand many foolish Igbos is not same as all Igbo or maybe you simply will love to argue against my statement for arguing sake or probably you do understand many foolish Igbo translate to all Igbos in the long run judging from how difficult it is to see any Igbo with common sense on NL this days buymyride: |
