codeME:I've also been waiting for the bosses opinion but seems no one has replied so far. As an amateur, I'll say the IPO is worth given a trial. ![]() Should be closing tomorrow the 14th, not sure there'll be any extension. Pls do your DD too.....that's just my opinion. |

onegentleguy: codeME: yMcy56: This was long highlighted and attended to. The article above should address all your concerns and much more! And yes, unless MTN decides otherwise, I don't think there'll be an extension to the offer period. Think the offer is already oversubscribed. The offer appear to have gathered much momentum, particularly in the South-East and Northern parts of the country. MTN were well prepared for it with enough 'goodwill' to get folks in. There was even an announcement that the company will commence construction work on the terribly bad Enugu-Onitsha express way as part of the coys CSR initiative. Regards 1 Like |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by yMcy56: 9:41pm On Dec 13, 2021 |
codeME:Try and read/understand the terms and conditions well before buying anyway. ** You must be ready to hold for at least one year before you can sell and that's the only condition that can qualify you for the bonus of 1 for every 20 purchased** ** Must be picked in multiple of 20s** Had to explain to someone who wants to buy with the intention of selling pretty soon......so I thought, let me put the reminder here too. Consider your options very well before going for it. If you're an investor, watching and picking on the floor will be more like it for me...........this is an update to my earlier post. 2 Likes |

onegentleguy:Thks boss. Should be an oversight since I'm not picking the IPO, so, not much attention paid to it. The aspect that got me a bit somehow was the momentum gathering aspect. It was over-publicized with lots of noise everywhere self. |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by gabscity(m): 10:14pm On Dec 13, 2021 |
yMcy56: The too much noise about it scared me off it actually. I feel if it was that juicy, the likes of Otedolas wouldn't have made it cascaded to 1k units buyers like me. 1 Like |

My Oga, you have good points though. However, I can assure you IF OIL price ever goes above $100, the US (arguably largest producer) will flood the market with their oil reserves and even pump more money to oil shale producers to start producing unconventionally. This will less than 6 month crash oil price as we recently witnessed. From what the chart is saying, there is high probability that Nigeria market is likely to experience tough time from 2022. Market price may even rise to 50K... Let me show you one more market breadth indicator (Advance and Decline - AD). See chart below, when AD line climax, price continue to rise, then price later falls in line with AD. https://invst.ly/wvpu1 In any case, this is past data and this does not guarantee of future results, it's just a guilde ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() RabbiDoracle: 2 Likes
