If possible, am I to do that through VFS or I should go to the high consulate in VI directly? Please ASAP responses needed. Thanks

bros those that got their passports back after 3 weeks will never tell you how it happened, this is nigeria where your money speaks for u...This is a matter of good contact,there was a younger brother of mine that got his visa after 3 days of submission in 2016 while mine took two weeks then...I guess you understand me better

Yes we actually got our passports back with 3 months visa stamped ( multiple entry) under 1 week , but to be sincere it was handled by a travel agent whos planning my family vacation in SA this Christmas period...

Oh, I forgot to add, mine is student visa and not visiting visa. Student visa takes a minimum of 8 weeks and can extend to as far as 24 weeks. Awon oloshi

I'm not sure any of these is possible. This would have been possible if your documents were still with VFS which I presume not.

You may want to call VFS to find out.

hello guys.. i just got this message from VFS NOW..... Processed application is ready for collection from LAGOS as on 15/12/2021.

I will know my faith if them don give me visa or not.......lols..........

I paid for courier service though...

Cant wait to have my passport since all this while....

Please how long did it take before you received this message, I summited my application since October 11th and still no response from them, I have been trying to pull back my passport and go elsewhere and they don't even respond to messages. I am really getting frustrated about this whole south African bullshit.

I applied for tourism ooooo.... but I used my CAC certificate, hotel booking, flight booking, into letter, marriage certificate, 3month bank statement with 3.4 closing balance, my previous visa stamp to Kigali, and yellow card.

Just here to say that don't believe every negative rejection story you read on this thread about SA visa.

There is always a reason why visas are rejected, but in the midst of all that, a lot of people still get their visas approved. Someone just got a multiple entry visit visa within 2 weeks of applying in Lagos.

No lobbying or any settlement.
Applied, submitted all required documentations without fabricating anything. Booked hotel reservations and flights.
The person submitted payslips for 6 months, bank statement with less than 200k sef, but added a dom account statement. Not sure it mattered but the person sha submitted every proof of funds.

The moment you suddenly add funds to your bank account before applying for visa, its already a red flag especially for visiting visas.

If you're employed, add all the required letters from your employer confirming your leave and purpose of visit. If you are self employed, add all the required documents supporting your business. Then stay positive and optimistic.

Then pray for favor. People are getting visas but not all of them are on Nairaland.

All d best to those still expecting results.

Where did i downplay the racketeering or denials? Comprehension is a problem for most of you here.

I am sharing a positive experience to give people some encouragement. I don't work at the embassy. Lets keep it at that and keep it moving.

If anybody here knows how I can get my passport back please let me know, its been more than two months they have held my passport washout any information, VFS even stopped responding to my messages for more than 1 month now, I never knew looking for sout african visa will turn into this kind of mess, even if they are not giving visa why not return peoples passports ? This people are fucking heartless.

No be must say person go S.A, let me at least get my passport and travel elsewhere, please if anybody knows how I can get the passport back let me know.
