how did gas supply amount to begging? do you know the number of countries nigeria supplies gas to? nigeria supplies LNG gas to many many countries, including japan, china, india etc etc It is strictly business. they buy the gas and pay you hard cash. Or will you rather keep the gas in nigeria and inhale it till you all yamutu?

It is strictly business. The gas sales agreement nigeria has with Ghana is a long term contract. Under the contract, Ghana is required to buy the gas over a 25-year period, whether Ghana needs it or not. That was needed to safeguard the investment in building the pipelines etc ghana contributed to the project and therefore owns a share in the pipeline.

Under the contract, Nigeria is supposed to supply 120MM scf of gas daily to Ghana. Typically, they even struggle to provide half of that volume. But Ghana has its own gas so it doesn't really that gas from Nigeria that much.
