I've always thought this is where I'll go for my honeymoon one day but now, I am having second thoughts, I might as well go to Santorini if it's like this. When my white and black friends asks me a good place to vacation in Africa, I usually recommend Seychelles which is weird cause I've never been there. Please look into Mauritius for a future video. Awesome video BTW.

How many Igbos live in parts of the north and all over the country other than in the east? If they have the numbers like you adduced, why are they afraid of having a real census? It defies the laws of nature that you have more population in a deshert than in green Savanah.

I get your point, if all the igbos are to return home south east will not contain us because of our minut landmass,

And I agree on the part of the north shying away from true census, using religion and "Bashiga" as excuse,

There are other factors you have to consider too.

The land mass in the north is very large,
And like you said its desert, which is not totally true,

with the little rain the north gets their land is good for perennial plants lik rice, beans, onions millet corn soybeans, groundnut, etc.

That aside the cost of living in the north is relatively cheaper than any part of the country,

Now here wher a man is entitled to 4 wife at a time aside concubine and ex wives, and avarge northerner has at least 10 children even though they still have high mortality rates too but it counts

When you add some of these factors you might reason to thier numerical strength

But it's not proven yet

Please also note that Seychelles isn't a country you will come and hustle because there are no jobs, the small island country is only for tourists, if you are looking for a good place to spend your honeymoon or vacation, Seychelles is the right place to be.

Well said. Seychelles Islands is perfect for vacations, destination weddings, and honeymoons.

I fell in love instantly with Seychelles as far back as the 2000s when I first discovered it as an African tourist destination in the Indian ocean!

Thanks for bumping this post. Seychelles has been on my bucket list for a minute....but not after this video.

The beaches looks fantastic but it appears it is missing (and the OP confirmed it) a bit of culture and history.

My dream came true! This time my wife and I have visited Seychelles, an East African archipelago of 115 islands in the Indian Ocean.

The curiosity had to have been there in the first place. Thank goodness for the kind of dad you had who created avenues for it to nurtured not stifled.

You are right about intentional travelling 😀 but funny enough I haven't been to any of the balearic islands. Just one Canary Island (Fuerteventura). I beg of you, give those islands a miss..it is just one big barren black rock with black sand- I hated it!🤢🤢

I've watched the video and indeed the beaches are stunning...

But I'm afraid, that's it. Yes, the mountain views are lovely, but it is missing a certain je ne cest quoi ..kinda like a pretty post card.

I think it's a lack of distinct culture as in what makes the people who they are, how they live..all of that adds to certain vibe.

Cuba
I've been to Cuba, and the island had a Latin vibe, evident in the music, their dance ( Salsa) , mix of rural living and Havana looking like it was stuck in the 60's. I'd argue the beaches rival the Seychelles but all the above I mentioned made it much more than a beautiful destination.
