It was Eke who brought up Aro in a bid to twist the fact that ibos never had Kings until oyinbo came. Your ancestors never had Kings not in Bonny or anywhere else in the interior.
The ruiling house in Bonny, their titles & names all belongs to ijaws.

According to a fraudulent ijaw historian, but historical records shows otherwise.
No historical record mentioned Bonny and Ijaw in the same sentence. As a matter of fact ijaws are later migrants who in their typical treachery want to displace the aborigins they met on ground.

When did ibos start having Kings?. That's the question you need to ask yourselves.

Ignore the clown. This isn't about Kings which ijaws never had. It is about King Pepple and Bonny natives declaring themselves igbos.

It has become mission impossible for ijaws to show us a contrary account.

One thing you will take from all these. Igbos are always and will always be more intelligent than you. Know this and know peace. If Aro is no longer Ibo, what of king Obie?

what of the king of Aro?

What of Prince Tschukuma who was even drawn by Baikie? .
What of King Obie who was extensively talked about by Schön, Baikie, Laird and Oldfield?
All Igbo towns didn't have uniform system of rulership. Some ran a democratic system while some had a monarchical system.

However, the ijaws are a different case.
Here, how did IJaws that didn't have a king, "In all their district" now developed a king in Bonny?
Shatapp your mouth, the ijo coastal towns had kings.
In Nembe we had kings that even predated the ones at Bonny.

Yes, they did destroyed evidence not knowing that books stored away in European libraries can still be reached.

They thought Alagoa's fraud will erase everything.

See here, destroying records during the war.
They destroyed evidence and then Alagoa went and wrote this rubbish (calling it oral and whatever history of bonny) , he didn't know there were other records beyond his reach.

You are still acting like a pirate (Just like your forefathers), hijacking Nembe's history as that of Jos-men.

Oga, that obfuscation does not work on Igbos.

How can a people who grandstand as being republican & bowing to no king suddenly had a Monarchy that had never in history been peculiar to the ibos.

It's even more surprising that because of the highly coveted coastal region of Bonny, ibos suddenly began to say rankadede or kabiyesi to a man to whom they bow dow or genuflect and from whom they receive orders without questioning. Lol.

sense is far from you.
ode I am not even ijo as per clan.
I'm an original Nembe owei'togu.

during the British rule, the brass region comprises the current part of twon-brass, Nembe-ogbolomabiri, nembe-bassambiri, obioku, kula, odiama, and they had their Respected kings but the principal king was that of Nembe ogbolomabiri. These kingdoms in Nembe paid or owed allegiance to ogbolomabiri or bassambiri in those days, and their tasks to the British was through ogbolomabiri or bassambiri.
the capital of the brass city state was Nembe-ogbolomabiri, but as the years breezed by, they became very much autonomous.

why am I even wasting my explanation strength for an abakiliki man?

The Nembe-ijoh people like all other coastal ijoh towns maintain the supreme importance of "THE MOTHER"
The mother is supreme and every chieftaincy Wari (house) and it's running IS BASED ON THE NUMBER OF THE WOMEN.
even our creation story talks about the mother as the first being.
and every child born belongs to the mother and not the father except if married in the big dowry system (done by kings and chiefs or wealthy men)
this has been an age long practice, and every coastal town practice it.
does the Igbo tribe practice it?
BIG NO!
so Bleep off buddy.

But all colonial accounts CLEARLY state bonny predominantly eboe speaking. Why this argument?. Its like arguing in Rumuokoro and Rumuola etc with a deemwitt. We that grew up in ph don't bother arguing. I had some friends from opobo denying igbo while they spoke full igbo... then suddenly want to come under the igbo umbrella when they get to lagos or etc.

Going by logic from the screenshot, if ibos in Enugu had no king, therefore, ibos in Bonny also had no king. Since ibos are one nation anywhere they are.

To put the unnecessary back & forth to bed, the Amayanabo is a royal title which is totally strange to the ibo culture. But very much cultural to the ijaws.

The question is, is there any part of the Niger delta that are not found a large population of ibos or a large number of ibo-speaking people. But does it amount to those places automatically an ibo town?

From your logic it's safe to say an emir of kwara means its fulani land right? Even yhe British alluded to the fact eboe were the natives. From my experience in ph and the massive rewriting of history by the diete spiffs and changing of villages and cities to RUMU... o can never trust any history from the 2non igbo Riverians. You can't even compare kwara here because historical records of kwara were not told by foreigners but by the natives themselves. The European came to Bonny and were overwhelmed by the large ibo population which was supplied into the town through slavery.
As regards Rivers, it would be unfair to not allow the natives tell their own histories by themselves. Enough of ibos using their media strength to review the histories of the minorities.

Nembe is a dialect of Igbo and has nothing in common with Ijaw Jos-men.

When Nembe was already a city state,Ijaw were still teeth-filing cannibalistic boat pirates and all these were recorded for posterity.

Nembe Aborigines still exist today and they speak a dialect of the Igbo as they have always spoken more than 400 years ago.

All these were recorded and all these still obtains till today!

Now, no Ijaw person on this forum can confidently claim that Igbo spoken in BONNY was through slave trade..That lies have been decimated..No Ijaw King recorded in Bonny..Why are you forcing Ijaw language on people you claim are Ijaw? Do you know Ijaw do not put this energy in Bayelsa. Over 60% of Ijaw in Bayelsa do not speak or understand Ijaw language..So many Indigenes of Bayelsa do not speak IJAW or understand the language..Why Bonny and Opobo?
It is no longer possible..We will take down all the social sites you guys are peddling this false narrative. We are just beginning.
