Schools are going on holidays. Traffic usually reduces when schools close. I first noticed it long ago when I was in secondary school and its still like that today.

What do you expect?
That is one of the main reason many users left uber for bolt apart from the bonuses it gives them.

Yea well...if only they persisted. Cos they still had more drivers. Which driver wouldn't be glad to cancel and get a cancellation fee provided he has driven to and waited for 5mins at PU.
The game changer was when Uber removed cancellation fee, then Bolt introduced paid waiting.
Beyond cancellation fee, there are many other things that gave Bolt an edge over Uber and we have dissected them in d past. Have we forgotten Bolts commission was 15% initially? Even at that, they will still give u morning bonus, afternoon bonus and evening bonus. By the time u get 2 out of the three bonuses of the day u have gotten equivalent or more of ur commission. Then weekend bonus, approx 7k in 3days. All these while Uber was still fixed on 25% with N100 bonuses.
So everyone tot, why will I pay more commission and the circumstances are not even better. Then d Exodus of Drivers began.

Indriver has riders but with little or no Drivers they r nothing. So if Uber did everything to keep the drivers, no matter the riders on Bolt, it would have just been a matter of time for riders to come back to Uber. I think for now drivers control the business not Riders. Until d market is saturated with drivers.
Moove was d saving grace for Uber, they probably would have shut down by now.

See how 2weeks of 2% gave Uber traction, u think if they continue like this at least for 3months, things will not change? Many drivers will put on their Uber App, and d field will be competitive again.

I don't get restricted to card trips on Bolt cos I preempt all the moves.

Solution : for weekends, transfer like 10k to Bolt before COB Friday. that way Sat & Sun is covered. It's still your money.

very easy, use your bank app. In the narration, put in your "reference number" within an hour or tops 2 hrs, ur 10k is sitting in your wallet.

It will still fail, if you do more of cash trips the following day, especially this period, I did that on Friday and still got cash restriction on Saturday, all you need is just completing like 5 long trips on 1.9 which was my case and I immediately made another payment and uptill now it's yet to reflect.

For sometime now, I really don't pay money(cash) into Bolt's account. I'll accept the card trips till they take their money and return me back to cash trips. And then it continues like that. I really don't have an issue with it

If another rider asks me “what is the color of your car?”, I just may lose my mind.

I was so frustrated yesterday, my ratings on bolt have dropped from 5 to 4.9, na wa...

I can’t tell who gave me the one stars but I know for sure this one lady did.

First she called and asked “where are you?”, and I was like can’t you see me on your map?

Then when I got to her pickup, she was like what is the color of your car? My head just dropped.

I mean unless, the ride was ordered for you, why will you ask me for my car color when everything should be on the app? Or isn’t it on the app? I haven’t used bolt as a rider before, only Uber.

I kept mute when she asked for my car color, then when she finally entered my car, she was like you are rude. I knew the one star was already sure, so I just dammed the rating consequences and told her that it’s a very annoying question if she was the one that booked the ride. I told her all my information including my name should be on her phone.

She then said what if I came with a different car? I was like why would you enter a car that is different from the one on your app? Why would the app show Benz as pickup and the driver shows up in a Yota and you will still enter?

Anyways, bad mood is hopefully gone and I can get back to 5 stars, cause usually I don’t let things like this bother me, but yesterday, I was so short fused and was tired of all the stupid questions.

Where are you?
What is your name?
What is the make of your car?
What is the color of your car?
....

They will run to use phone torch to check ur plate, then once inside the car you will hear "oga the picture of you on the app is different from your face angry grin

Any serious business person should know this. I sent in 15k on Friday.

I simply set a reminder for 2pm so I don't forget, immediately the alarm went off. I paid in. Meanwhile I was on a card trip as then that ended 7900 that didn't stop me from putting in the 15k.

Do you really , really make more money?
Then how many trips can you do within that 4hours?( let's assume your trips are against traffic)
Lastly, does it really worth it.....

Why would I go to Ajah, Festac town or Navy town, Ikorodu - Igbogbo, Igando-iyana iba or Ekoro Meiran around 8p.m? Its a No No

Sent in a total of 20k on Friday. First 15k and another 5k.

I had N27000 to work with (20k I paid+owing them 7k before restriction).

I would have to gross a total of 136k on Saturday and Sunday for me to be restricted which I knew was not possible.

If you're serious and ready to work you should pay in sufficient money on Friday.

I loaded 3k, 5k, 2k3, 6h between last Monday and Friday.
None was updated until Saturday. Just 5k was updated.
The whereabouts of the balance 5k9 is unknown till this moment.

Several back and forth mails to no avail. Dumped the damned app till my money returns.

I don't have issues with payments so I can't speak on this. Once I pay, it reflects under 30 minutes. I pay with First Bank.

Better days ahead ke.
On Uber, u can't get it better after this season.
If drivers are still suffering now, then there is no hope for Uber again. I can feel Dailyparrots pain and sadness in his words and story. It would have been better if he used Indriver.
Chillex, Tunlapapa and Felicity u guys have questions to answer for all d praises o. Or could it be that u r just pursuing 20k bonus and not making real money for yourselves?
Sorry I don't know what you're talking about. I've stated it here severely no loyalty in this game weather to the app company o, owner partner o, filling station, part seller, mechanic or rider no loyalty at all... I only go with what work best for me... Even while on 2% on Sunday I still shuffled trips with Bolt...

Wisdom and street wiseness is needed in this racket else rider will show you something.

I experience something almost similar with chioma on Uber yesterday... This davido bae use me shine sotey for the first time I shouted on a lady rider in anger. She requested and I was in Lyta gowon est side and she was at Divine Plaza side Egbeda junction. Almost getting there thru d bad road this bae cancelled... What! I was not too worried because its was a 1.1 Surge to lekki. She quickly requested again and I accepted and by this time it came with 1.8x for my kind you think say u wise abi u go hear am today. I called I was outside this bae said she was coming... 15min no show she cancel again.

Requested with another account and I accepted this time she said she could see and coming I was annoy at this point and you know since it's uber the wait time already start counting so I said let me be patience because I just wanted to leave the mainland.

I fired up my bolt app and the PU distance was above 1.7km... I just dey do calculation for my head... As this bae called I shouted at her... She was Just pleading sorry sorry... Finally she came out and we enroute on 1.6x.

Traffic tie wrapper yesterday. Na so madam say shes not going again. You don't mean it! I almost cried. grin

She requested I drop her off by a nearby hotel let her make booking... She already apologise for all the happenings b4 but as she cancel her trip again menh I went back to limp mood.

To be continued.

Watch out for part 2 because this davido bae is about to become an oven.gringrin
No she just cant stress my life like my village people.
