That’s after making payment on the innovate website for your application which is roughly about £65 or so. When you’re invited for your appointment, you’ll go with a special delivery stamped envelope in addition to the £20 postal order. Except you want fast track which is an additional £100 and doesn’t require you to wait for an appointment email.

How much to renew passport in London please?
I went on the website. It only mentioned £20 administration fee

Please what is the process for Nig passport renewal
Checking the website it wasn’t clear.
Is NIN mandatory for renewal, if yes, are children expected to go through NIN registration too?
Please anyone who can shed more light on the process please
Thanks

Are you sure about the bolded ?

Safe deposit box is a service offered by a lot of banks around the world.

I know for a fact union bank nigeria offers this service. Go to one of their major branches and ask for a safe deposit box account/service. You will most likely be asked to open an account with them as its a service offered to existing customers.

Another option is to bring the documents with you to the UK and use the safe deposit box service of any UK bank. I'll personally recommend NatWest.

Good morning All,

Please I’m currently sourcing for FX as I’m traveling to the UK in 2weeks.

Unofficially I’m trying to get pounds from a friend at UBA, and I’m hearing that they don’t have Poly. They only have 20 paper pounds.

Please what does this mean?

Is it a good deal?

Can I spend 20pounds in the Uk, if not, what is the least denomination I should get?

Will appreciate a response. Thank you

Carry your documents travel. If you need to sell the land in the future you send documents across using DHL after payments have been received. Make sure you fence and secure the land

@Chreze Thank you so much for this information.
I plan moving to Glasgow next year February.
What is the average cost of Airbnb for a month.
How is Accommodation like at West Glasgow?

Hi,

The price of Airbnb is not fixed and sometimes difficult to estimate as it is based on availability. But one thing I know is that to get a good accommodation and at a good rate, you have to search and book early. February is a special month globally so there is high tendency that nice apartments with good price will be taken fast. My advice is you check Airbnb now, put your budgeted amount and see what comes out, if you see something you like, you just proceed to pay if you have your visa and sure of your flight.

Also, I think accommodations in Glasgow are not bad. By “not bad” I mean what you will obviously get an accommodation in the UK. What I can tell you is that a distance of 30 - 40 mins drive by bus can change the price of an apartment drastically. As a Nigerian we spend 30mins on a standstill traffic in Lagos (for example). That 30mins distance here can save a lot in your pocket for accommodation. So if you put in the Lagos traffic lesson, you will use it to get a cheaper apartment and drive 40mins by bus to your destination everyday.

The bus system is very good, I say this because as students (if that is your situation), these options help one save money.

Hmmmm. Fx transactions and fakes. Chai this your comment just remind of one transaction wey nearly put me for trouble in my days counting other peoples money in one of old generation banks.

The moral of the story is that there are no guarantees. Please do your due diligence before and after parting with your own money. And for no reason should you hand back pounds that have been given to you and confirmed as complete and authentic.

In Nigeria. Nin registration is compulsory for everyone including day old children prior to passport registration.

Not sure if it’s different for the UK Consulate

My husband recently renewed his passport. I am very sure he doesn't have BVN not to talk on NIN

These days BVN is Queen. NIN is definitely King. Before you can cough freely in Naija you need NIN undecided

They're still issuing the old passport at the HC, at least as at November.
So they're not requiring the NIN.
Perhaps when they switch to issuing the new redesigned one, they might (the new one has a space for the so-called NI number, ridiculous in my opinion, why put a so-called personal number on an identity document, some blockheads in Abuja not thinking as usual), but for now it's not being requested.

Thank you so much @Chreze for the heads-up.
I really appreciate your response. I will ensure I start my search early as soon as my Visa arrives.
I hope to get more tutelage if I have any further questions.
