This is my last day accepting any useless bank transfer, I will call and ask if they have cash before I accept the trip.

2 people today now owe me 3,400.

It’s just a weird feeling, like I’m driving for free. Gosh!

How do you guys do it?

Do you accept bank transfer?

They’ve been saying network issue as I have called both of them now.

I mean technically, aren’t we supposed to even collect cash? If it’s not a card trip?

I don’t mean to be a hoodlum, but I just can’t be at the mercy of someone telling me network issues after they have already alighted from my vehicle.

Me I always carry change, so there won’t be any excuse.

I’m still so pained, I had to go home.

They should pay me my money or I will start calling them non stop and if the block me I will use private numbers.

Tell them to wait in your car till you get the alert.

Dropped a girl at unilag(science) she transferred and showed me hastily. Told her to wait till I get the alert. She started complaining that she was late.
After about 10 mins I told her that I can no longer wait, that we should go to GTB or access atm. She asked about the one she transferred, I said I've not seen any alert, and she can't be wasting my time and that if I get the alert I'll transfer back to her. She followed me to the ATM, gave me cash, then I took her back to the science fac, and then collected her acct. Till today I've not gotten the alert.

The other one that happened at Dmatel, I explained it here. I didn't get the alert, but then I allowed him leave the car cos he was checking into the hotel. I later went to the hotel to collect cash. He even added extra 2k.

Make sure you get the alert before they leave, cos some of them Na scammers, just like that girl up there.

And then also, let them show you the app receipt. Better still ask which bank App they want to use, cos some banks delay or prob network issues. Like access bank. If they use access to transfer to GTB, it takes a whole day, and sometimes, they send back to the sender.

Sometimes it just seems like asking them to wait is a waste of my time and their time, because I know some legit transfers can take a while for whatever reason, but it seems this is the better approach. Or best yet, I will only collect cash.

Anyways I have been paid now. Yay!

I don’t know if it’s cause I reported both rides to bolt.

Riders need to understand abeg, it’s not easy to drive someone up and down for free. Then still pay for petrol and pay for bolt commission out of pocket because you didn’t get paid.

One of them was telling me to calm down, and I usually am calm. I once let a guy pay me after two days no stress and I let a lady out the next day.

But sometimes you need that money like NOW!!! Like even to buy petrol!

Anyways matter resolved, but men, I was nearly hypertensive cause of just 3k but it was my sweat abeg!

I picked the guy and the guy narrated to me that he’s going to show the last bolt guy and teach him a lesson…

I was like boss what’s the problem?? He said he requested bolt and saw 1.9 which is fine by him and the fee is like 4,700 to 5,500… he called the guy and calling his name and told him he’s at the park… could you believe this guy told him straight that he’s going to collect 7k offline…. What

He said he told him he’s also a bolt guy but the guy no send…

Well I calm the guy down but to be honest this is sickening…. I did same trip and took airport oshodi which sum up to 6500! so these people are just painting themselves bad…

If ehailing is part in plan then look for anything within 2.0L, 1.8L or 1.6L all 4cyls.

Mind you the federal government is making plans to increase pump prices and I see no form of increment by the app coys that can help to complement the effect cause by the increment.

Cost of parts will shoot up, cost of maintenance will shoot up and there will decrease in patronage and high influx of new drivers due to the overwhelming labor market and lost of jobs to folding up of companies due to high running cost.

Lets brace up for a more difficult time come 2022 if the government takes this action.

E go red!!!

Wow thank you very much.

This is what I always say: can the Driver himself pay that amount t fare from MM to Surulere for N7k...Abba d'allah....

Makkah why!!!..you don't make wealth that way, I keep telling folks...you can only be successful through networking, the quality of people around you... Not by charging outrageous fares...

.I so much believe in karma ...absolutely...
You might charge exorbitant fares, make your car get issues that'll take all what you've earn.

Please, let us all be reasonable and considerate...

Na airport mentality dem dey use. Back in those days it was 4k flat rate from MM to any destination in Lagos. Those guys made a lot of money back then and that's like ten years ago, or thereabout. That's why they were furious when ehailing came.and scattered their market and some of those old guys are still hanging around there thinking about the good old daysgrin

If another rider asks me “what is the color of your car?”, I just may lose my mind.

I was so frustrated yesterday, my ratings on bolt have dropped from 5 to 4.9, na wa...

I can’t tell who gave me the one stars but I know for sure this one lady did.

First she called and asked “where are you?”, and I was like can’t you see me on your map?

Then when I got to her pickup, she was like what is the color of your car? My head just dropped.

I mean unless, the ride was ordered for you, why will you ask me for my car color when everything should be on the app? Or isn’t it on the app? I haven’t used bolt as a rider before, only Uber.

I kept mute when she asked for my car color, then when she finally entered my car, she was like you are rude. I knew the one star was already sure, so I just dammed the rating consequences and told her that it’s a very annoying question if she was the one that booked the ride. I told her all my information including my name should be on her phone.

She then said what if I came with a different car? I was like why would you enter a car that is different from the one on your app? Why would the app show Benz as pickup and the driver shows up in a Yota and you will still enter?

Anyways, bad mood is hopefully gone and I can get back to 5 stars, cause usually I don’t let things like this bother me, but yesterday, I was so short fused and was tired of all the stupid questions.

Where are you?
What is your name?
What is the make of your car?
What is the color of your car?
....

Lol...

Guyndey paragrin but why e b say na Benz you come use as analogy and not tye popular Corolla grin Benz in ur mind i guess.

About the question where are you I think I'm beginning to get over it because it's seems it's a default on the bolt app because that's the same question these riders use even when they chat you up. So tye thing no dey bother me again

Sent in a total of 20k on Friday. First 15k and another 5k.

I had N27000 to work with (20k I paid+owing them 7k before restriction).

I would have to gross a total of 136k on Saturday and Sunday for me to be restricted which I knew was not possible.

If you're serious and ready to work you should pay in sufficient money on Friday.
I dont know which Language to tell you guys that it doesn't work with everyone, I have paid in 3,500 since last week Friday and till now it has not reflected. I have communicated with them, sent reference number and sender's name and yet they have not done anything.

So with this experience, do u think I will be encouraged to make payments of bigger amount to bolt next time?

How did you send it.? App or ussd. Did you input your reference no. in the narration/remark.?
It will always reflect ( though might take a while), if you use the app and ur reference no. is correctly quoted.
Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by northbird: 12:46pm On Dec 21, 2021
Anyone sending money to Bolt without quoting your reference no. shouldn't complain if you don't get credited.

The system does not know your name. Over 5,000 drivers dropping into one single goody bag.

Your name/identity is your reference number. In fact, if you are writing Bolt as regards financial issues, quoting your reference no will make it easier for both parties.
