Premier League strugglers Newcastle United have reportedly identified Tosin Adarabioyo as a potential reinforcement ahead of the January transfer window. The Times has reported that the Magpies are in the market for two defensive reinforcements and have Fulham star Adarabioyo and Marseille's Boubacar Kamara on their radar. Newcastle United have the worst defensive record in the Premier League with 41 goals conceded after eighteen matches. The leaky defence has give manager Eddie Howe cause for concern and he intends to strengthen the backline. Newcastle United sent one of their top scouts to run the rule over Adarabioyo in a recent Championship clash between Fulham and Luton Town. The 6ft 5in Anglo-Nigerian center half has Premier League experience under his belt, making 33 appearances for the Cottagers over the course of the 2020-2021 season. A product of the Manchester City academy, Adarabioyo is contracted to Fulham until June 30, 2023. The 24-year-old has scored a goal in eighteen Championship games this season - all of which he started. |

mirinder:Teslim "Thunder" Balogun. Why: 1) the only 9ja player to have a powerful force of nature to describe him, that is, Thunder.infact there is a god of thunder in the southwest part of Niigeria. There is also a biblical reference to thunder, that is, sons of Thunder. That should tell you how great he was. 2) the only nigeria player with a legend about hiw he ripped open the belly of a goalie during a dare!!! 3) he also has a stadium named after him to cap it all up. With all those few points of mine, i have proven beyond all reasonable and unreasonable doubts why Teslim Thunder Balogun is the greatest player from Nigeria. Now if you don't still get it, then you get a problem. Finally, it's unfortunate I never got to watch him play though. 1 Like |

andrewbaba44: Why ![]() Because most clubs in Europe cannot afford to buy them, its that simple. However, opportunities for young players in the highly competitive EPL means some will look at lesser league or go from the Championship to first tier league in Europe. So for instance Jadon leaves Man city to Bundesliga and essentially cleans up, Jude Bellingham at 17 also leaves Birmingham city straight to the Bundesliga and has been outstanding, youngest ever Player to score for B.Dortmund. Ademola ,Batshuayi, Reiss Nelson, all made great impact in the Bundesliga. Aina was voted best RWB in the Championship and no opportunity in Chelsea goes to Seria A and has been outstanding given accolade as fastest player in Seria A at one stage. Tomori found no opportunity in Chelsea and is definitely a top top CB in AC Milan his progress anchored in on his outstanding season in the Championship. Tega Abraham was outstanding in the Championship and outstanding in the EPL. But left out for non football reasons by Chelsea. He had gone to Seria A and has been outstanding, not too many goals but his contribution to the team excellent. HOWEVER, the situation with KC is not comparable in any way, he has been highly DISSAPOINTING. After his £25 million pound transfer he has played five seasons in the EPL for Leicester City and after 106 games in the EPL he has scored 22 goals. That's just ABYSMAL there is no excuse. That's why he has remained in the EPL NOBODY will pay him half of what he is currently getting not even in in the Championship. No European team will take him he will have to drop his wages to wel below £20k a week. He has also renewed his contract and will probably see it out. He improved immensely last season but it seems like he played Leicester UK Yahoo. Because he is back to his normal to self only one goal this season. So will not move anytime soon 3 Likes |

Subzero047: They may have best concentration of coaches. It doesn't translate to better handling of African teams. They most times just never understand the terrain, the players, and the philosophy. And they don't seem eager to want to do so cos its always short term to them. We don't need the coach to be as that reputable(neither do we need the coach to be so off radar like Peseiro, if that rumor is true), but at Least knows the terrain is always not the same as Europe. That's the deal. |

drDoom3: No EPL club will buy an impotent striker who has been impotent essentially for 5 season. I don't know the kind of Viagra he got last season for the first time in his entire football career he scored 12 goals in a season in the EPL. Admittedly they tweaked the system and formation where he can play as a support striker or in tandem with another forward player. Either way he has been poor this season that's why he is not playing, his contract will not expire until 2024. So he will remain until he has chopped his money complete whether that is so in the bench or on the field. |

charlesemeka85: Newcastle are dreaming where Tosin is concerned , they are one of the favourites to be relegated . On the other hand Fulham are favourites to be promoted, why would he leave. Newcastle need to look elsewhere maybe other teams in the Championship or a top team in league one with good central defender. Tosin will currently walk in to several EPL clubs , he has not declared interest in Nigeria yet. Because right now he is ABSOLUTELY better than all the current CB's in the SE. 1 Like |

TheGoodJoe: Oga you are dreaming again. Football is a short term career ,you have limited time to gain ascendency. A season is a long time, two seasons confirmation and by three seasons it is history established. KC has a conformed history of underachievement, these are the plain FACTS. The SE now needs to look at Dennis he is the IN- FORM striker at the moment and the best ,but in addition this dude brings more. He has scored 7 goals but he also has 5 assists as well. |
