This man dosen't have problem, though biden implemented a policy that favours jeff bezos over elon musk (Amazon over tesla).
Favouring someone that nothing about human advancement concerns him, whose main aim is to maintain the richest man in the world over an enjineer and scientist that his main aim is to help lessen human burden, finding ways to go about global warming and isnt in competition with anyone, but doing things to help humans.

I keep saying it, Africa is poor!
But people will start saying our senators or politicians are collecting the highest wages in the whole world ,bla bla bla bla.

UAE is just 9 million in population, selling over 3million crude oil barrel per day , compare that to Nigeria 200 million population selling 1.8 million crude oil barrel per day, and that's the only reasonable means Nigeria is getting money.

UAE is still a torist destination in the whole world, also UAE is also a market where people buy cheap goods, e.g Gold , bringing millions of dollars per month.

Africa is really poor, effect of poor mentality leaders

I always try to tell people this fact, but they don't understand.

If you know how much Americans (especially the leftists) drag their rich people over taxes, you'll marvel.

Humans are the same every where. The same way we accuse Dangote of tax fraud is the same way they accuse their billionaires of committing tax fraud too.
It's not the same. Over there, they make use of legal loopholes. Here, they just evade tax fraudulently.

You think he's a Nigerian that jumps taxes?

Some people are glad to pay their bills and as far as the government gives them an enabling ground for their business to thrive... Paying taxes won't matter...

Not when you don't even have light or good roads to transport your goods, yet they'll come and bring bills and make you run low...

He was not happy to pay the tax. In fact, he was forced to pay it because of his option put that expired this year. This is accumulated tax since 2012. American billionaires are known criminals that hide money in stock and invest proceed for compound profit.

He was attacked by several American platforms for not paying tax by hiding money in tesla stock because you can't pay money on an open position. I have seen a lot of Nigerians, even Ndubuisi posted this without a complete understanding of Elon Musk's situation. Whether he like it or not he must pay this tax because his option put has expired on the shares he was gifted in Tesla in 2012. Why didn't he pay before now?

opor o... Dangote needs to start looking into Tech.... Its a shame that the networth of the richest man in the entire africa is just someone's yearly tax. it tells a lot about the poverty in Africa.

Tech is more of a passion than an investment vehicle. And it's up to you the younger generation to look into tech not Dangote.

He was not forced to pay tax. Under US law, he could hold on to his stock. He is only eligible to pay tax until after selling stock so you are wrong in saying he was forced.
You do not pay tax for owning stock under the us law.
Musk carried out a survey asking the American public if the wanted him to sell some stock and pay tax. More than 50% said yes. Since he promised he would do what ever majority wanted, he went ahead with the tax.

The difference is that rich people in those countries listen and make necessary adjustments.

Stop telling me what I know. I covered the event. His twitter poll was after Wall Street Journal publication exposed him. He and the Tesla team were scared that the $13 million tax at the time would negatively impact the company shares, hence the poll to better manage the fallout.

I wrote this about a month ago.

Very smart guy.

If he ever thinks of becoming the POTUS, he already has a support base.

I'm really impressed by that gesture.

Nigerians jump taxes because we are 100% sure that they will be looted by our politicians.

There is zero accountability here.
