So sorry to say that you just typed a whole load of trash.
Racism and exploitation of Africans is the sign that whites show true, natural and unconditional love?
Whatever you are smoking and/or drinking is not at all helping you.

Who is showing racism to you in Africa now? Do White people owe you their unconditional love in order to build your country? Who helped the Chinese? Get off your self-entitlement mentality, Mr slavery-is-the-problem. Whites don't owe Blacks any damned thing.

My reference to civilization is to White people, not your Black and White racism.

Ignorance. If you go to US thats how they serve their portions. 1 portion is usually enough to feed 2 -3 people

Exactly (and thank you for weighing in)! As you mentioned to the previous poster, portions in the US are typically larger than most countries. Further, I’m not traveling solo, so others are sampling and eating with me. I’m sharing what was ordered for my entire party so that you can see the variety of offerings.

But, what's the essence of showing off all dis foreign meals to Nigerians that can hardly comprehend and finding it difficult to feed at the moment? Be sensitive at other pple's plight. Cuz you're in a better place doesn't mean you should be chest=beating abt it... angry

You could have shown the pic quietly without being 'noisy' abt it. Rubbish! angry

I’m sorry you feel this way. My intent was certainly not to “rub it in” anyones face, but simply to share the various food dishes available when traveling.

Take care and be well friend~

It is not just about money but also about priorities.
Many of us blacks don’t travel to understand what makes other people different from us, to adopt the good elements of their lifestyle. Our loss.

Agree, I travel to educate myself. It’s an opportunity to learn about history and the way of life as others see it. Travel made me quickly realize how blessed I am which is why I don’t take my life experiences for granted and share my journey’s to encourage others to “LIVE OUT LOUD”. Money I can make, but time I can never get back. I am my ancestors wildest dream!

Ge was trying to spun anarrative but ended up showing his ignorance. Please pay them no mind. They still live in a society where eating chicken is a status symbol. For real. People take selfies and post on IG to show off when eating chicken

Direct your anger to the government, typical bad belle Yoruba man. Nairaland.com is a diary. She was journaling her experience. Remove your eyes or stay away from such threads. She wasn't showing off or bragging. Typical black man mentality

How are you doing Mstravelindiva

[1quote author=Mstravelindiva post=108569728]

While a bit off topic from my original post, I’ll respond. First, thank you for sharing your perspective. You are correct, I technically don’t “NEED” a man, I can take care of and finance myself.

HOWEVER, the difference between need and want is the difference between codependence and love. Love and codependence are very, very different. And loving someone is much more beautiful and rewarding than leaning on them for all things, at all times, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

That being said, I have an amazingly loving, supportive, and compassionate husband that I “WANTED”. He’s my chocolate Igbo man and I love him unconditionally! wink

Now…let’s get back to traveling friend! cheesy[/quote]
