vankelvin:They must cancel it. If Cameroon can't complete a stadium, and they have insecurity issues why should we risk our lives just for the sake of soccer? Again, if a nation can't deal with insecurities at home, why should they host Afcon? Instead of dealing with real issues, they are busy with soccer? Instead of investing in healthcare, they are building a soccer stadiums? Who bewitched these fellas? Shitholes |

A tent cost the same in Juba. The reason - like Ghana - there is a dearth of accomodation, housing, apartments and such. That is why people pay rent for 2yrs. Just30: 2 Likes |

Why is accra so expensive... 1st answer from Mr Google. Accra is reputed as one of the most expensive cities in Africa. This is partly due to the cost of rent and accommodation that have soared over 70% in the last four years, In stead of generating copious amount of nonsense day in day out - maybe you should concentrate on build apartments and high rises to accommodate the ever rising population. Why is Nairobi named 11th best city to live in by expats. Exact opposite. Nairobi has gazillions of accommodation and rental properties. Like I previously told you - you can arrive at JKIA in morning - and have rented out a house for your budget in the afternoon. Just30: 2 Likes |

Of course. There is no supply of decent houses and accommodations in Accra. This is a daily occurrence. Not linked to festive seasons. Finding rental unit in Accra is expensive on a normal day. Hotels that at best are 2 star - on normal day - cost an arm and a leg. This is true in Accra, Niamey, Juba, and such backwaters. vankelvin: 1 Like |

There is nothing to be proud of being most expensive city in Africa. Your peers - Njamena in Chad, Lagos in Nigeria, Accra in Ghana, Bangui in Central Africa, Kinshasasa in Congo, https://briefly.co.za/90977-what-15-expensive-cities-africa-2020.html 2 Likes |

That bonobo - living in a hell hole like Accra that is very expensive - is pure bollocks. Nairobi is improving - becoming less and less expensive place to live https://www.businessdailyafrica.com/bd/news/nairobi-out-of-100-most-expensive-cities-for-expats-3452974 Nairobi has for the first time in three years dropped out of the world's top 100 most expensive cities for expatriates, highlighting the impact of Kenya's coronavirus-related tax cuts announced last year. The Kenyan capital improved 47 places to become the world's 145th most expensive city this year, according to a Mercer Cost of Living report released last week. vankelvin: 2 Likes |

Mkenya2019:Do you know why it has soared by 70% ? We don't have a problem with the ever rising population... I really like your dumbness on an early morning ... We won't be building apartment to breed that kind of mess... Accra is the 20th greatest city in the World .... Nairobi has properties for tourist but not it residents hence why everyone there lives In a slum. Deal with that ... You can arrive at KIA and get a home in just an hour based on your taste. 1 Like |

Mkenya2019:All Accra homes are recent ... Your brother African traveller can attest to that ..... Ofcourse living in a decent home is expensive ... That doesn't mean we should get up and start building nasty stuff like you have all over Kenya .... Rundown cities like Nairobi, Monrovia and Juba are typically building messes |

Mkenya2019:Theres everything to be proud of when you are offering the best quality at the price... It also indicate that people have a lot of disposable income which is something to be proud of ... This disposable income is the reason why Casablanca Morocco, Accra Ghana and co are leading the growth in retail spending on the African continent.. Go and sleep, you don't have to compare your country to Accra daily before you can feel good about it. Anyway, there are only 2.7 million formal workers in your country..... That explains a lot 3 Likes |
