My spouse is the applicant while I'm the dependant. She applied to Chester, paid deposit, did pof, we printed after 30 days and applied for cas which came like after two weeks, however my agent later noticed that she has two names on her passport while she has 3 on her bank details so he advised that we make corrections at the banks, before we could finish that, the banker handling pof removed the funds due to some miscommunication, now that name has been changed bank statement is no longer showing a ledger balance of the pof amount, been very confused even the banker is currently telling me the fund is no longer available when I asked them to return it.
Been thinking of what to do, resumption is Jan 17, even if I consider a new pof, it will take 30 days before we can use it to apply for visa, and I'm thinking if we set up a new pof will the school allow her to resume at a later date than the resumption date.
Pls the gurus in the house, I need clarity cos I'm at crossroad.

Most January intakes have Grace till April to resume once you can complete your enrollment . The names didn’t matter but you got lucky that your application was not with DMC when the money was removed.

Not in the case of Bradford. Latest date is Feb 11 2021

So we can set up a new pof and apply for visa once it's 30 days?

That's what i did though. Booked for an appointment before the 28days pof was ready. Was given dec 13 but paid for walk-in and had it done on 29th Nov

My sister applied for teesside university. She wasn't given cas and uptil last week , we heard from someone in the school, that they ain't issuing that to people again. My pain being why is the school still collecting deposit from prospective students when they know , they won't issue cas.

So my main issue now is, she has another school ready to give her cas she applied to too. Can she go for it while waiting for refund from teesside or will it have an effect cos I heard from someone that if she gets cas from another school, that teesside won't refund again.

Please what do you advice us to do

There has to be grounds why you want a refund and it has to be due to visa rejection or else they won't do a full refund.

The agent is an ass . It's 28days. IOM is just lagos and Abuja. There's a calculator for IHS on gov.uk. You can use barter by flutterwave. There rate is black market rate though

Oh yes. A lot of people have been complaining about this issue with teesside University. Write them and request for a refund then.

Please search for information on Google and make nairaland (this room) your daily news. I promise you will coach those so-called roadside agents.

Please look for the real/professional agents,not the acanvengers if you need to use one.
I am sure of two withreal-time testimony without asking for a dime from the applicant.

Pof is 28 days including weekends and holidays.

I think it is possible but just make accommodation plans in case you don't get to do it that day. I say this because I was there yesterday and there were people who weren't attended to on Monday. There was a list and when they started attending to walk ins. They started with them. I still think it's more stress free than Lagos

You can still request for your account statement using the previous date and it will show the recent name which the bank has amended. So there won't be need applying for another pof

Tell your sister to wait for the next intake if not na the same refund wahala una go still face. I don't know why your sister is still insisting January intake is she not thinking about the period to process visa? Sometimes we should look into conditions before jumping. Uk is there Uk schools are there. They are not running. Next time you guys should apply early. Apply to other schools early too.
