i was misdiagnosing of high blood pressure
It's a bit lebghty but I have to explain everything that happened from scratch.
Before i start note that i'm just 29 years old
Good morning Nairalnders, I was having some ulcer symptoms like chest burn so I went to the hospital, there the nurses checked my BP with an electronic machine and it was normal(132/80) after that, I went into the doctors office and he checked my BP with a manual machine and it showed (150/100) and immediately gave me a blood pressure medication and clopidogrel 75 mg with some ulcer medications. Note that the doctor who said I have high BP only checked my blood pressure once with a manual machine and concluded that I have high blood pressure, even though the nurses then used an electronic machine and it appeared normal.
I knew I was misdiagnosed because after I left the state where the hospital is, I've checked my blood pressure up to 10 times both with manual and electronic machine and it appeared normal, other doctors I contacted told me that they shouldn't have given me BP medication after checking my BP just once with a manual machine, especially as the electronic machine showed normal, especially considering my age (I'm 29) and adviced me to stop.
The problem now is that, from the time I started taking this medication, I've been experiencing pain on my heart, I mean like the exact spot where my heart is, serious heart burn and pain at that very spot where my heart is, anytime I touch that spot I feel the pain more. This problem i have continued even after I stopped taking the BP medication and the clopidogrel, I've read online and saw that these two medications have serious and life threatening side effect.
I went to another hospital in the state where I currently reside and the doctor said I'm having a panic attack, and give me at anti depressants/anxiety medication, together with a medication that is mostly prescribed for epileptic patients. I bought the medication but couldn't take them as I was scared, as I don't feel anxiety or depressed neither do I have epilepsy.
THE PROBLEM NOW IS THAT, I'M STILL EXPERIENCING THIS SEVERE HEART PAIN(BURNING AND PAIN), LITERARILY ON MY THE EXACT SPORT WGERE MY HEART IS. I'M SCARED OF NIGERIAN HOSPITALS, THEIR MISTAKES CAN BE FATAL, OUR DOCTORS DON'T LISTIN, WHEN YOU TALK TO THEM THEY JUST START WRITING WITHOUT PAYING ATTENTION.
I'M SCARED OF TAKING ENGLISH DRUGS, PLEASE I NEED SUGGESTIONS ON HAVE TO TACKLE THIS THE HEARBAL WAY OR WITH SUPPLEMENTS.
I'VE SPENT OVER 100K ALREADY. I CHECKED MY BP LAST WEEK MONDAY AND IT READ 120/80. |

This is the reason why i always read about a drug before taken it.
Some of these Doctors don't take details seriously.
It's a pity this is happening to you.
I will advise you give yourself some time without any medication, the body has a way of reinstating its previous position.
Most times our issues requires just time and adequate rest.

Goodluck. I swear, they don't pay attention to details, they don't take their time to listen and pay attention to what the patient is actually saying, I could remember telling one doctor about my symptoms, it was the third time he actually heard something important and I've mentioned that particular symptom to him before twice already, it was the third time he actually heard me. |

iliyande: You need to book an appointment with some consultants like gastro, nephrologist and cardiologist for a proper diagnosis Maybe a cardiologist, but bro, I won't lie to you, with the experience I've had and with everything I've read online, I'm scared to go to the hospital, I'm scared to even swallow panadol. Now I understand what people mean when they say every medicine is a potential poison. If I can get a supplement that works well for the heart I'll prefer it, or a native solution. 1 Like |

iliyande: You need to book an appointment with some consultants like gastro, nephrologist and cardiologist for a proper diagnosis I have read this type of your statement a lot of Times in on nairaland. For your information this is Nigeria where everyone working in the hospital especially government hospital is a professional doctor so you can just walk in to the hospital and ask for a professional in certain field |

Your best bet is Phytoscience stem cell products.
There are several video testimonies that I can send to you . Even those with hole in the heart, kidney damage etc they all get cured so I don't think your issue would be difficult to fix.
Stem cells rebuild damaged cells in our body naturally and once the cells are ok, the affected organ would be ok. With healthy organs, the illness plaguing the organ would disappear and you would be as fit as a fiddle.

It's like checking blood levels I've done a full blood count. I've googled the difference between a pcv and a full blood count and I don't think they are the same thing but I want to confirm from you. Is it the same as a full blood count? Cause I've done a full blood count. |

I'VE SPENT OVER 100K ALREADY. I CHECKED MY BP LAST WEEK MONDAY AND IT READ 120/80. Many times, either due to patient load or lack of awareness among physicians, often single blood pressure measurement is used to diagnose and manage high blood pressure. Having patients go on BP drugs when they don't need them means they are taking medications that add little or no benefit to their well-being, with some side effects at times. Repeated blood pressure measurements have been shown to be more representative of the true BP status. Improper measurement of BP usually leads to inaccurate classification and unnecessary treatment. It's even advised that blood pressure should be measured at least three times to prevent misdiagnosis. Although the doses of drugs like clopidogrel should be eliminated from your body system within three days, unfortunately, sometimes they leave the body with side effects such as more severe heartburn and pain in the heart region, which pose dangerous attack to your heart health. I guess that's why you're currently suffering from those symptoms. Getting medical help right away if you notice any symptoms of serious reactions from BP medications is very crucial, and shouldn't be delayed. If I may ask, did you take notice of your heart pulse reading or do the symptoms come with difficulty breathing? For consultation, you can check my signature |

I once had serious heart burn/pain. Sometimes it got so severe that I thought I would die and then the next minute it releases me a little. Went to the hospital and they packed drugs for me which I took and they did absolutely nothing. Guess what relieved the condition? Oranges! I took lots of oranges one day that made me belge a lot and relieved me. I got to understand air got trapped in my chest (it never felt like that one bit) So in summary, try oranges first. Then try heart burn/pain relievers like gestid. If it persists then you can proceed to a hospital. Most nigerian hospitals are after your money. They don't care if you get better or worse.
