Mujtahida: The most annoying thing for me is that, in modern football right in the 18 yard box, once a winger/player sees an opponent facing him, the next thing is to play the ball back to the midfield, then from the midfield to defence and back to the goal keeper..what worst example of timewasting do you have than that...they say they are looking for space..widen the field draw out players...just a single mercurial player can give you all in seconds. Very pathetic kind of football...now I watch more nba...now that they have axed the floppings..it is getting more exciting...if a Nigerian am interested in is not playing..or a team that plays entertaining football..I don't waste my time watching drab football..why else would I watch if it is not entertaining...if they want goals..they should just turn all matches to penalty kicks...and they would have tons of goals. Now I don't support any team, I just pick my teams and games and watch the ones that would entertain me..it's my time and money. 16 Likes |

Subzero047: I'm not going to be suddenly comfortable with enikeni cos of they worked with someone. We can't repeat Rohr mistake. Besides its SE, the big brand here. Names that doesn't look it should not get it. We are suddenly trusting this guy due to the sugarcoating of Mou? I think Pinnick deliberately did this so we Nigerians will overlook sentimentally. Everyone trusting cos its Mou. Even Pep and Klopp have made silly decisions at a point in time. I dunno why Mou's word is suddenly Platinum here. Not like he understands African football philosophy, etc. Same old mistake. Naso dem hype Lagerback with Tactician tag. Baba just dey touchline dey fold ams dey look like Lost Santa Claus. komekn: While watching Eguavoen's tactical video, he talked about something. Dictating play with diagonal long balls. Chukwuemeka might destroy with skill and pace. However, he does not play that way. He does not dictate play with diagonal long balls. So will you force the coach to abandon his philosophy because a player destroys team with skill and pace? It does not work like that. The coach must pick players that suit his philosophy. Even if the player plays on the moon. |

daveP: The sports minister should knock some sense into Amaju pinnick. He should be forced to accept Eguavon as the coach to Afcon or nothing else. Caf might even sanction us if we dont submit our final 28 man list on time. Sunday Dare should act fast and stop Amaju pinicks childish, corrupt tantrums 6 Likes |

TheGoodJoe: The mistake that some of you make is to judge their talented players solely by their club performances. Club performance should be one of the requirements needed to be invited at their national team. But, it shouldn’t ‘solely’ be the metrics of consideration. For example, iwobi scored 3 goals and 2 assist at the previous stage of WCQ for Nigeria playing at his favorite position. But, his performance so far this season at Everton has been poor. So, should we drop him at SE despite him being one of our most outstanding player at this previous WCQ for flopping at Everton or we should consider his good performance for SE?? Moses Simon has 7 assists and 2 goals for nantes this season and is rated as their ‘best player’ but he failed to impress, score nor assist in 6 WCQ for Nigeria…. My point is, let’s give players that has impressed for Nigeria previously as long as they’re fit, playing and on their team a chance and if they fail to impress, you can drop them. But, to ignore an impressive Nigerian player, playing for Nigeria solely because of his ratings at club side is unacceptable 5 Likes 1 Share |

Hearing we may be getting a 30 man list. Camp starts 28th and this feet dragging by the NFF is something else. If Eguavoen isn't going to lead us, name a coach and let him get to work immediately. 2 Likes |

nelszx: Just can't wait for this NFF era just like Buhari government to be over I was thinking we southerners managing NFF will do things differently but it is obvious the Northerners are smarter and better so far when it comes to football administration in Nigeria If you criticize the NFF now...just like Buhari foot soldiers, pinnick supporters will come quote u just like Buhari, Pinnick does no wrong. Incompetence flows in all arms and agencies of the government. Why don't allow Equeavon led this team to afcon what is the obsession with a foreign coach We need results, if Austin is unable to win the afcon then we can recruit a foreign coach.... at this time shopping for a foreign coach for the super eagles is ill timed and unnecessary....what we need is to put all hands on deck to achieve something from the forthcoming AFCON and afterwards we shift focus to the world cup Pinnick need to get his priorities right, I believe the NFF is the one delaying the preparation and not the coaching crew 1 Like |

Many of us here had lost sight of what's going on with our sport, and if care is not taken FIFA hammer will land on us, Dare had been interfering too much, yet nobody is saying anything |

do4luv14: Easy for you blame the sport minister with the so many incompetence comiñg from pinnick led management you will never blame him instead you can quote others to absolve him of blame... Brother of a truth, Pinnick is to be blame for the delay so far, if i was the sport minister will get more involve more than what Dare is doing because Pinnick doesn't look like someone who knows what he is important, have priorities or what he is supposed to do at this hour. If he has show capabilities I am sure no one will love interfere in the team preparation Few days to a tournament all he is busy with is appointing a fo reign coach for the super eagles when you have Austin a member of the Technical committee who have been there with some coaches managing the team By now all hands and preparation should be in place for the super eagles to have befitting afcon and not distract the coaching crew and team with news of appointing a foreign coach. Let the coaching crew get to work immediately after the afcon we shift focus to appointing a foreign coach if need be. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Famocious: He is now FIFA errand boy and right hand man in Africa. Infantino is very close to him, he even gets to represent him in some occasions... This may put him in a bad light amongst other africa FAs and CAF. He could be a saboteur being that the western countries want a postponement or cancellation of CAF and him being close to thjs western block can be used to achieve this plans Pinnick is playing a dangerous politics while using the NFF as the ladder to achieve his personal ambition 4 Likes |
