They have been the one shouting Southern unity up and down, threatening the north and insisting on zoning it to the south .

NW never determined it until 2015 and SW wasn’t part of the regions that determined in in 1999. Buhari won the NE and NW convincingly in since 2003 but didn’t become president until 2015. All a president needs to win election is a spread across all regions with at least 25% in 24 states. What you can say is that Lagos or Kano is key. South west and North are the major factor that Determine who becomes president !!!! Talking as if those regions have political and population strength to win any presidency in Nigeria.
