He blames everyone but himself.

A good leader takes responsibility for the failures of those he leads, but a disaster of a RULER finds who amongst his subjects to throw the blame when he flops.

Who employed them in the first place ? The government right ? So why play the blame card ? Is the navy not there to secure the pipelines ?

Or better still if the welfare of the people are taking into consideration would there be any group called militants ?

What has Niger Delta Militants done this 2021 that they will be blamed for the president's failures and insensitiveness? This same Niger Delta Militants that have been completed docile all through this year 2021 are been blamed for your incompetence.
The presidency has exausted all the blame options available to them and has turned to group(s) or things that have relatively remained calm.

Time is ticking and 2023 loading ...

Reading does not kill.

It is a short piece, why not read it, instead of jumping into a hasty conclusion.

And yet people like you will be shouting that you want a youthful president.

79 years old man who cannot take responsibility for his failure is a kid. Always blaming everyone and everything for his failure, whereas a good leader, despite the problem, will look for a way out, rather than blaming. I am sure if any of children misbehave, he would blame someone else for the children misdemeanor. This man does not fit being a leader. A leader as far as I am concern take responsibility. Everyone has weakness no doubt, admitting your weakness instead of blaming is another leadership trait, which this man lacks
This is the person the SW & the North thought would change Nigeria for the better. Now the entire North & South are crying.

What the president said was that oil sold at a higher price with high productivity level as well, before they came to power in 2015. And this can be verified.

The Niger Deltan militants began blowing up pipelines, reducing production to half a million barrels per day. Then prices slumped to below 40 naira per barrel. How do you achieve economies of scale when you are producing below full capacity, at reduced product value?

In management, there are strengths and weaknesses (which are internal), and opportunities and threats (which are external).

Buhari is right to blame external factors such as threats for his inability to perform. It doesn't make him less of a leader.

Leaders take responsibility for their weaknesses, not the impact of threats which they have very little influence over.

The Covid-19 impacted oil price, and every leader acknowledges that. Do you expect them to take responsibility for job losses resulting from the pandemic?

Go and check the timeline of the Niger Deltan militant attacks. It began in 2016, not even up to a year that Buhari assumed leadership.

From January, 2016, they began blowing up inportant export lines and linkups, and they did so nearly every day in January, especially February.

The president has challenged you people to verify. These claims are verifiable.

They were blowing up important pipelines and link-ups, crippling production. When oil price slumped, we were supposed to be producing more to at least achieve cost advantage.

But those Niger Deltan fools had reduced production to half a million barrels per day with oil selling at below 40 naira.

Come on, how much can you achieve if you are an oil dependent country like Nigeria?

Young man stop giving us gibberish statements, show us stats in the past 6yrs where Militants blew up Pipelines and the impact it has on our Production capacity.

You'll just swallow up stuffs thrown at you and be running with it in defence without verifying, when Militancy was rife and at its peak was even during PDP era, and you're here defending stuffs you don't understand.

Why was the government and NNPC always telling us they were going to ramp up production capacity to 3Million Barrels per day, was it not because of the relative peace in the region that gave them that confidence?

Bunkery wey boys no see do again and leave for one side, rush embrace Yahoo naim dem still dey blame............abeg e don do!!!
