do4luv14: Sacking Rohr and replacing him with Austin was okay and accepted after a cursory analysis So why still junketing round for a foreign coach at this hour? Why not kick start preparation asap The coaching crew are ready why not start off I am so sure if they had start by releasing the list and get to work...Dare won't have find it easy to interfere. Pinnick and NFF is displaying gross incompetence so far with the way they've handling the super eagles Why don't put the search for a foreign coach on hold and lets work towards this afcon first and afterwards with the Technical crew shop for a foreign coach I like been truthfully if pinnick was my blood brother will tell him bluntly so far he is not doing well I hate it when we shy from the truth.... so far the NFF is not helping the super eagles at all. All this move and rumour about appointing a foreign a coach should stop and all efforts should be on preparing the super eagles for afcon . Meanwhile you can't expect the sport minister not to want the team use the abuja stadia for preparation having been built by Dangote. In fact they ought to organise a friendly there and invite dangote to come watch with his friends otedola etc by so doing they can even raise some cash for the super eagles as they journey to Cameroon...it can be a good strategy The sport ministry does nothing wrong in wanting them play and camp in abuja moreover the NFF depends on the sport ministry to fund his budget if they believe abuja will be less expensive thats fine.. Moreover both Uyo and Abuja have great facilities in place 8 Likes 2 Shares |

Mujtahida: Went through some posts but I think people have not adjusted to the current football climate. For instance, Jude Bellingham that made the statement is a testament of the modern game. He is so fit, insanely fast and has an exceptional work rate. With players working this hard to stay conditioned,we can not expect it easy to dribble like in the past. 3 Likes

TheGoodJoe: What's shocking to this kid scored his first goal for Birmingham City when he was 16, he is now only 18 , a regular and outstanding player for B. Dortmund in the Bundesliga and has already got 10 caps for England senior national team. I know he is on the shopping list of the top clubs in Europe. This is clear outstanding consistent outstanding quality. Do you know in these academies they train at age 9/10 5 time's a week for at least 2 hours + of high intensity. That's the level of performance our local boys need to be aspiring too in our local football academies. 4 Likes |

komekn: Simply admit that you do not know the definition of technique. Talking about technique, Kelechi Iheanacho, Paul Onuachu and Victor Osimhen all have more technique than Samuel Chukwueze. Samuel Chukwueze has more technique than Joe Aribo, and Joe Aribo has more technique than Taiwo Awoniyi and Emmanuel Dennis. Kelechi Iheanacho, Paul Onuachu and Victor Osimhen are players that are very underrated on this platform, but we do not know what we have. Should i also add that kelechi Nwakali has more technique than Joe Aribo and is by far a better midfielder. 1 Like |

Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. Sequel to my post yesterday where I expressed my intention to take over the responsibility of organising the annual Nairaland Nigeria Football award as requested by Icon4s this year, I'm glad to announce that the award would go ahead as planned, and I'll be coordinating it with Drklever. Three people from this thread will join the nomination committee alongside me and Drklever, with icon4s being a honorary member. On this note, members of the thread are to nominate 3 monikers they wish to be part of the committee. Unlike how it was previously done where we would nominate only one moniker, I suggest we nominate 3 each so as to make it more flexible and have more people nominated. Here's how the nomination selection will be sorted; 3 points would be awarded to the first name nominated, 2 points to the second and 1 point to the last. Example: I nominate Danielnino00, Drklever and icon4s. in this case, Danielnino00 will have 3 nomination point, Drklever will have 2 and icon4s will have 1. At the close of the nomination process, the 3 monikers with the most points will be added to the committee. Any moniker that's selected to the committee but doesn't wish to participate for any reason whatsoever will be replaced by the another one from below the top 4. Nomination starts now and close on Monday, December 27th 2021. Thank you. 15 Likes 3 Shares |

Odunayaw: It is not one Nation that will host it every two years. There can be longer preparatory windows like announcing the next host eight years before. Then the country has eight years to prepare. Two years later announce the next country that will host eight years later and so on. |
