Convert your first year tuition fee and 10,000cad to naira. If it meets that amount or less, you are good to go

What a Sad Day for me.

Got 2 correspondence letter on to check and realize my application was refused.

What do I do next.

Gcm notes take time to come how long do I have to wait to even reapply.

Guys plz advice me.

So sorry bro, I know this is painful but you will get it if you dont give up.

Wait for your GCMS notes to arrive to help you see areas that you can improve on.

In the meantime, please try to take your mind off and enjoy the holiday, take sometime to relax and have fun.

You can contact any of the gurus privately in your re-application to help you review your SOP.

It would end in praise.

On the vfs site for biometrics booking, the highest time next week wednesday is 12:40pm-12:50.

I thought i could see 2pm, because i will be coming from a far distance that day

Is that how it works?

So sorry Mrczar, is just a delay. Be rest assured your it will b approved in your next Application.

We know GCMS Note takes time now, but you still have apply for it as that's the only way to get the VO's concerns.

But,
Are you a matured student?

Did you use a sponsor? If yes, did you show your own POF?

Did you show any job/work ties, assets, professional ties?

while you apply for your note and at the moment, be your own VO. Think of what could have gone wrong based on the generic reply. Ponder what you could do differently and think of if any document(s) could be added. So that when your note will come out, you must have drafted and redrafted your LOE countless times. Don't sit and wait for note to come before starting to draft your LOE.

It will surely end in praises

From ircc website, the said application should show Tuition(first year) + 10,000(living expenses)+ 3,000(others/miscellaneous).

Now even showing that, you also have to sow how you intend to pay for the (2nd year Tuition+living expenses+ others).

So with these, is the 9.4 million enough?

And since you're using a sponsor, and I guess your sposnor has family. So is it from this same money that your sposnor will use to take care of his or her family?

Where did you see this $3k extra on the $10k?
Kindly share the link.
Meanwhile, he said "self sponsor", and the said amount is after paying 1st Semester school fees. If he can demonstrate how he intends to fund the fees and living expenses for the second year, I think he should be fine with that amount.

After board and room, you will see others. The 3k is estimate. Just flight alone can take between CAD$1500-CAD$2,000.

We should just simplify these things. From the IRCC site: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/study-canada/study-permit/get-documents.html#doc3 - $10k is what a student needs per year if not schooling in Quebec.

Then the flight and others (buying clothes etc), he doesn't need those funds to apply for Study permit. I think he only needed information on whether or not that amount would help him scale through the application process.

Check the portal, does the visa portal say visa approved? If yes, tell him to show that portal to the officer over there.

They refused to look at the portal. Kept him waiting almost 6 hours. Canadian immigration finally confirmed that they were to allow him in.
Thanks a lot

You are good to go. Mind you, upon issuance of admission, tge school charges 1500cad s tuition deposit but it is refundable in the event your visa is denied.

I found the course in Centennial College, how much is the tuition deposit for Centennial College please?

Conestogac College is really giving admission to lots of people, I’m surprised lots of programs are filled up and on waitlist

PR is different from SP. for study permit, IELTS isn't compulsory and schools from an English speaking nations and with English as language of instruction in their schools usually have IELTS waiver when applying for schools in Canada. But for PR, you need IELTS.

Thank you as it is well noted.

Hello Teejay

IELTS is compulsory for Permanent residency..

A study permit is a temporary residence visa, so IELTS is not a requirement for Study permit Visa Applciation..

Peace

Thank you makano for the clarification.
