Thanks for your wisdom Bro

I dont see how the sport ministry demands that the eagles camp in Abuja as something that should be withholding the NFF from releasing the afcon list and kick starting preparation for afcon

He is trying to blame the Sport Minister for the NFF incompetence and cluelessnes
Besides Abuja has currently better infrastructure than Uyo. The new turf is also an advantage. One thing I can't guarantee is concentration of the boys cos every nonsense politician will want to come and frenzy with them.

But aside that it's not that bad. Only thing is we might not play any friendly before they depart for Cameroon.

Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen.
Sequel to my post yesterday where I expressed my intention to take over the responsibility of organising the annual Nairaland Nigeria Football award as requested by Icon4s this year, I'm glad to announce that the award would go ahead as planned, and I'll be coordinating it with Drklever.

Four people from this thread will join the nomination committee alongside me and Drklever, with icon4s being a honorary member.

On this note, members of the thread are to nominate 3 monikers they wish to be part of the committee. Unlike how it was previously done where we would nominate only one moniker, I suggest we nominate 3 each so as to make it more flexible and have more people nominated.
Here's how the nomination selection will be sorted;
3 points would be awarded to the first name nominated, 2 points to the second and 1 point to the last.
Example: I nominate Danielnino00, Drklever and icon4s. in this case, Danielnino00 will have 3 nomination point, Drklever will have 2 and icon4s will have 1.
At the close of the nomination process, the 4 monikers with the most points will be added to the committee. Any moniker that's selected to the committee but doesn't wish to participate for any reason whatsoever will be replaced by the another one from below the top 4.
Nomination starts now and close on Monday, December 27th 2021.

Thank you.

Driving to Cameroon now is an unwise decision as the Ambazonian boys are wrecking havoc in those area. Before what happened to Togo in Angola will happen to the boys.

Maybe camp in Abuja and fly them directly into Cameroon (safety first).

then let's be patience enough for the logistics and others to be put in place, as the change of camping require

The team has an official carrier (Airpeace). The logistics has already been sorted....Anytime they want or choose to travel they are covered.

Let them just camp, everything they need has been put in place.

The players already know themselves. Villarreal has revealed Chuks has been called up.

There's also a code of conduct waiting to be signed by the players when they land. We know camp is opening 28th.

Pinnick has been excellent at the administrative aspect of the NFF but his non footballing career show in some of his footballing decisions but this one prefers going back to the days of hustling jerseys on the day of tournaments the way some of these guys make some emotional outbursts eh!

Easy for you blame the sport minister with the so many incompetence comiñg from pinnick led management you will never blame him instead you can quote others to absolve him of blame...

Brother of a truth, Pinnick is to be blame for the delay so far, if i was the sport minister will get more involve more than what Dare is doing because Pinnick doesn't look like someone who knows what he is important, have priorities or what he is supposed to do at this hour.

If he has show capabilities I am sure no one will love interfere in the team preparation

Few days to a tournament all he is busy with is appointing a fo reign coach for the super eagles when you have Austin a member of the Technical committee who have been there with some coaches managing the team

By now all hands and preparation should be in place for the super eagles to have befitting afcon and not distract the coaching crew and team with news of appointing a foreign coach. Let the coaching crew get to work immediately after the afcon we shift focus to appointing a foreign coach if need be.
You really need to get a grip of your emotions, you keep making this false assertion in here daily about “southerners being bad managers of football in this country “

It reeks of stupidity for you to keep saying these at all times. The mere fact that Pinnick is not doing things the way you want does not warrant you to keep tagging everyone as never do well.

Every good thing in this country was laid down by southerners, stop disgracing yourself.

The year is almost at an end and we haven't been able to start anything about the annual Nairaland Nigeria Football award started by Chief icon4s a few years ago. I'd hate to see us miss out on this year edition, seeing as the award as become sort of like a traditional part of this thread.
On this note, I hereby volunteer to coordinate the award this year as requested by icon4s.
However, I will be limited to coordinating it online only, meaning I won't be able to tak over the responsibility of having the award designed or delivered to the glass house.

Anybody that wish to join me in coordinating it should please indicate.
Thank you.

Kudos, Daniel.

Akinkunmi Amoo seems good with his decision making on the ball when running at goal. The guy even looks faster and more skillful than Samuel Chukwueze. He has that ability to keep possession on the move at quick pace and giving that split pass when he wanted to. Youtube though can be deceiving sometimes. grin grin grin
