This is the thing about religion which gets me thinking deeply.

The bible is written by a human, and so is the Qur'an and any other religious books, texts, templates, etc. They all have their versions of what the end of the world and the afterlife is. They have their thoughts and processes to salvation. Now, the question arises, what makes one believe one's belief system is superior to another's?

We have millions of people practicing Buddhism, Judaism, Hinduism, Scientology, Atheism, etc. They all have their behavioral templates. They all have their God. Matter of fact, one can even say those practicing Hinduism and Buddhism are alot more tolerant and loving than we Christians, and love is the greatest creed of christianity, alongside charity.

So I keep wondering, how could one simply believe everyone else but those practicing his own religion would NOT MAKE HEAVEN or END UP IN HELL?

I am a Christian but I have genuine doubts about this particular issue.

In historically muslim societies, Allah isn't just the name of a god of a particular religion. Allah is a denonym that is used to mean the deity, just like the word "God" in the English realm.

In cultures like Malay, Indochinese, Hausa, Arabic etc with strong Islamic influence, there are no other local words to describe God other than Allah. Be such God the Muslim, Christian or Buddhist one.
