TheGoodJoe: What's his philosophy? Someone that has not played a match and here you are talking about philosophy...same stupid philosophy that's could secure U-23 Olympic ticket same philosophy that made him played 3 match in Olympic qualifications lost 2 matches Have you asked what's his CVs are Coaching badges ? You're just been prejudicial here bro Yet you couldn't spare tunde Adelakun because he has no coaching badge Yet we don't even know your Austin coaching badge His CV so far shows how tactically deficient he is yet you're comparing his decisions with the likes of genius like Mancini. 1 Like

TheGoodJoe: So you're telling me ndubuisi egbo and Eddie Newton of Trabzonspor are white men Eddie Newton was an assistant coach for Chelsea for years before moving to turkey Oliseh had the chance to be a top manager at the eredivise and blew it up Seyi olofinjina is currently one of the age grade coaches of Wolverhampton same with finidi George...if you're Good you're good there are opportunities of for black coaches in Europe on the basics of pure competence...Theirry Henry coached Monaco even our own emenalo was the sporting director for Chelsea for years...stop all these bullocks and face the truth. 1 Like |

Astrid4: Are you reading what you are typing? You could only list a handful and one is an age grade coach. Yet we have whites flooding all the top leagues, lower leagues, junior Leagues, academy leagues. There are some things that you should not debate. The unfairness of black and African coaches is too much. |

TheGoodJoe: Has he played apkoguma for him to know that face he can't fit into his philosophy apkoguma is a stopper similar with player like Ekong, omerou and awaziem he had better season that this trio...if he doesn't deserve to be in the squad then this trio has no place in the team And here you're talking about philosophy What's his philosophy you're talking about the likes of genius like Mancini we knows what his style is, the whole world know how much of a genius he is...trying to use Mancini's decision to justify a coach with no coaching badge like Eguavoen it very STUPID the likes of Mancini, Luis Enrique, Guardiola are gods in what they do. 2 Likes |

Astrid4: One of the things coaches try to establish in coaching school is the philosophy they will adapt to. It is the basic of coaching. So a coach does not have to be Mancini who is quite brilliant. Heard his coaching badge thesis was on another level. But, a coach does not need to be as brilliant as Mancini to have his philosophy. Then selection of players is aligned to it. If Ndah brings a different skillset that the other players don't have, we can not criticise the manager. |

TheGoodJoe: I know the fact there is not much of black coaches in top European clubs but it not a matter of racial prejudices or biasness it all comes down to competence. The likes of viera, Eddie Newton, henry et Al got their chances cos of the fact they're competent not because they're black or white...simple!! |

Astrid4: You must be kidding if you think these are the only competent black coaches. The black coaches do not even have the opportunities to show if they are competent. Even linesman is hard for blacks. Let alone referee and VAR room. Yet you want Nigerian coaches to use ambition to coach top European clubs. Haba. |

Astrid4: At best, you have a simplistic perspective on the subject. While racial prejudice may primarily not be the reason for the handful of black coaches around the world, unconscious bias could be. Bias dictate who and who doesn't get opportunities which ultimately affects success rate. Statistics matter you know. Increase Africa's participation at the world cup to the exact number Europe gets and our chances of winning automatically increases. It was viola Davis that said after winning the Emmy "'In my mind, I see a line. And over that line, I see green fields and lovely flowers and beautiful white women with their arms stretched out to me over that line. But I can't seem to get there no how. I can't seem to get over that line.' That was Harriet Tubman in the 1800s. And let me tell you something: The only thing that separates women of colour from anyone else is opportunity. You cannot win an Emmy for roles that are simply not there". Until increased opportunities come, the chances of success will be low 3 Likes 1 Share |

TheGoodJoe: All this one nah shalaye as far as am concern I don't wanna see a man talking about his own philosophy I will deduce from his style of playing to know his philosophy And for real I will like to know the coaching badge he hold to be able to get the SE job, Paul aigbogun has a UEFA A LICENSE went for a refresher coaching course in England can the same be said about Austin? On what tutelage was Austin under?; we both know Boas was under Robson tutelage for years as a video analyst for years same with the like of Graham Potter of Brighton he is inspired by the like of Guardiola thus make his style very distinctive these are what I need to know !!! No this trash. |

I don't know why some Posters here are making it seems we gonna miss Akpo at the Tournament. How many times was he invited and how many Matches has he started for the Eagles? He may be performing well at his Club, but yet to show positive Signs in GWG. Let's calm down and let Coaches to their jobs. Ndah some of you are berating is a fine Player. He can play in 3man Defence comfortably, same as 2man Defence. Aerially he's so much reliable. He's also ball playing Defender and good at long range passes. In Addition he can play DM as well. How old is he? He's just 23yrs old, thus a perfect replacement for ageing Balogun in the Team. He and Bassey can form a solid Partnership in the future. We shouldn't be rushing to castigate a Player cos he's not known to us or he's not our favourite. SA League is far better than NPFL. Last AFCON we won, our Heroes are from NPFL - Oboabona at Defence and Mbah at AM. 3 Likes |

TheGoodJoe:Okoye hasn't really produced even a 90 percent display for the SE. He wasn't also called up for a tournament like these ones. Uzoho was called up while in a lower league as well and no one screamed bribery. |

TheGoodJoe: Trash!!! With the little opportunity they have what's have they done with it ?? Blew it off same way Thierry Henry did Samson siasia did similar thing with match fixing Same with the great amuneke even Salisu Yusuf is not left behind do you think all these dudes have good credentials to go Europe and make a name for themselves judging by the fact their names has been soiled with match fixing and lack of professionalism. People who exhibit good professionalism are doing well the likes of Eddie Newton, sheyi olofinjina, Patrick viera and co.are trying to make good names for themselves. Steven Gerrard was a Liverpool hero same way Thierry Henry was a hero at arsenal and Barcelona...after finishing his coaching coach he coached rangers now he is with Aston Villa. He took his chances same cannot be said about Henry after two years as an assistant with Belgium national team, things like this are not given at a platter of gold they're earned. |
