Already declared Patson Daka injured to be out for 5 weeks and rumour of Ndidi injured too

Many clubs will do likewise to their star africa players as afcon draw near

Why was he included in the provisional list if it has not been completed?

Besides, let us critically analyze the forward list into-to.

10 forwards were listed and if we add Ejuke, we have 11 forwards.

Now, where can these players function along the front line?

We have CF, SS, AMF, LW and RW.

As far as I am concern, we have a total 4 natural CFs in the team because I am not sure of Osimhen’s fitness.

CF
1. Odion Ighalo
2. Taiwo Awoniyi
3. Emmmuel Dennis
4. Umar Sadiq

SS
5. Iheanacho Kelechi

AMF
6. Alex Iwobi

RW
7. Samuel Chuks
8. Chidera Ejuke

LW
9. Simon Moses
10. Ahmed Musa

*Osimhen (Fitness not confirmed)

The weakest position is the LW. This is where Ademola Lookman comes in.

Is Simon or Musa better than Lookman on that LW?

Apparently, Lookman is better than most of the wingers on the list.

Ejuke plays LW too... Dennis too can play anywhere up front.. Is Lookman better than either of them?
How many forwards are we even going to use?
Shehu should be replaced by a defender or midfielder

Far from that, besides Daka didn't qualify for AFCON.

Danielnino00:
Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen.
Sequel to my post yesterday where I expressed my intention to take over the responsibility of organising the annual Nairaland Nigeria Football award as requested by Icon4s this year, I'm glad to announce that the award would go ahead as planned, and I'll be coordinating it with Drklever.

Three people from this thread will join the nomination committee alongside me and Drklever, with icon4s being a honorary member.

On this note, members of the thread are to nominate 3 monikers they wish to be part of the committee. Unlike how it was previously done where we would nominate only one moniker, I suggest we nominate 3 each so as to make it more flexible and have more people nominated.
Here's how the nomination selection will be sorted;
3 points would be awarded to the first name nominated, 2 points to the second and 1 point to the last.
Example: I nominate Danielnino00, Drklever and icon4s. in this case, Danielnino00 will have 3 nomination point, Drklever will have 2 and icon4s will have 1.
At the close of the nomination process, the 3 monikers with the most points will be added to the committee. Any moniker that's selected to the committee but doesn't wish to participate for any reason whatsoever will be replaced by the another one from below the top 4.
Nomination starts now and close on Monday, December 27th 2021.

Thank you.

Gentlemen, ladies, comrades... the nomination of committee members is now closed. Official result from the votes would be announced by 2pm. I'll be counting the votes alongside Drklever.

No wonder he couldn't convert his Euro penalty kick.

If they could lace his boot, he could have scored.

We are in dire need of his services bro, we don't have even a single personnel in his position, so it is logical bringing him aboard the ship unlike Lookman.

No sense in the comparison because you can never know if the situations is reversed for them in terms of teams if the same would be said
