I want to use this opportunity to appreciate God and thank everyone on this thread.

I was at the embassy on Friday 3rd December 2021, got a positive response on the 8th December 2021 (3 working days) for a long stay visa

Just want to encourage as many as are still planning to apply and those already in the process not to give up.

Hopefully, I can get to share my full story soon.

Congratulations man. This is great news. Was your long stay visa for work purposes? Please I would like to ask some questions like what additional documents did you submit?

You said on the website, vaccinated people are not expected to pay but that's not true. That has never been true. Before November, everyone vaccinated or not was expected to do a 7 day post-arrival test, it was on the website.

It was updated in November and vaccinated people now do a day 2 post arrival test and unvaccinated people do day 2 and Day 7 post arrival test.

I am not saying you did or didn't. I was reacting to you saying your breaking of the law was legal. smiley

Why do you choose to read upside down! I’m given report based on the time I arrive Nigeria on October as at that time is was written at the website that vaccinated passengers do not need to pay but can register for the post arrival test after 7 days and those not vaccinated have to pay at the center but you must fill the online form to enable them clear you at the airport. I
I DID NOT PAY ANY MONEY just filled my form online and I see no reason to do the test because I had PCR test done in France before my departure and I was not ask for to show the result at the airport when I arrived nigeria but what they are interested is to see the form you fill online. Meanwhile I don’t think any vaccinated person will even want to do the post arrival test because is not useful to them and they will not come to your house after 7 days to drag you to do the test,
However if you decided to do the post arrival test as fully vaccinated passenger , the possibility of them asking for the money at the center is there because nothing is free in Nigeria.
If the website has been updated after my arrival then that’s non of my business until I’m ready to travel again.
Case close
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by CowbellY: 11:34am On Dec 27, 2021
Again, there was no time that they didn't ask for money on the website and I advice people to please register and do the test.

Nigeria is a crazy country where anything goes but in January this year, they banned some people's passport for about 6 months because they didn't do the test.

We have queried the NCDC severally on why vaccinated people should not bother doing tests but they still insist on it.

Since September last year, every inbound traveller to Nigeria does a pre-depature and post-arrival test.

Let's be careful and all have hitch free trips.

Selah.

That's not true. Lol. Vaccinated passengers still have to do a post arrival test, on Day 2. While non-vaccinated passengers have to do two test. Day 2 and Day 7

Hi, I'm new here and would like to ask a question.
I asked someone who said he was in france how the covid situation is and he replied and I quote' it is somewhat serious, classes are done physically, you can present a negative pcr test to ENTER FRANCE BUT YOU WILL NEED A COVID PASS TO ACCESS RESTAURANTS, BARS e.t.c . But according to [www.diplomatie.gouv.fr] it said and I quote ' the pass [French Passe Sanitaire] 'In France, the COVID certificate is issued to people who have tested negative or who have been fully vaccinated with one of the vaccines recognized by the European Medicines Agency or one of the equivalents to these vaccines'.........does this mean I would be given a pass if I am tested negative?. Or I would need to be vaccinated to get a pass............ Thank you for your time.

If you are fully vaccinated in Nigeria, you will need to convert your Nigeria vaccination card to EU digital card via http://www.demarches-simplifiees.fr/commencer/passe-sanitaire-etudiants, once you get to France, you will download AntiCovid app and then scan your QR code. your QR code in Anticovid app will be your passes sanitaire. but if you are not fully vaccinated in Nigeria., you can book appointment in France and get vaccinated. you can't get a passe sanitaire with a negative PCR, you must be fully vaccinated before you can get the passes sanitaire.

nothing really much at the POE no much question, he only ask for where i will be staying and to see the hotel booking that all
after picking up my luggage i was stop by the border police (but dont let this bother you cause it a random check , they might ask u what u have in ur luggage .. i was ask to open it dey search for any COK and also body search me right there. ask what i do that all and he said sorry just doing my job and i left.

In paris city. try to understand the metro with that it will save u a lot of money using taxi, also some restaurant was asking covid pass before u could enter their place , but just only few shall.. try and get your vacine card it helps alot, all the sighting i went to was asking of covid pass i only show them the covid vacine certificate and also the negative test i did right from nigeria,

On going back no stress just do ur covid test this is what airline need and also Travel permit from nigeria portal this only apply when i arrived here in lagos dey will ask at the airport, done mine at Paris and i pay online also, so i didnt waste time at the airport.

Good day all
I am currently a student and got an internship offer from a company, hence would need a Schengen business visa for the three month stay.

I would be a first time traveller, so I would like to ask about chances of getting a visa and any possible advice you can help me with?

Thank you very much
