But you go press calculator tire to decipher cheesy

After the stress of picking up and dropping off, I'll still be bothered about my earnings? Mbanu.
It should be clearly stated. Somethings should just be straightforward.

You work and earn sometimes up to 500k monthly, don't want to pay tax, but you complain of bad roads.

E be like say na sicklers full this bolt thread o, after making 200k easily then start complaining of ill health cheesy

Oga isn't that double or multiple taxation... What happened to the N20/trip we are already paying?
How about the 20% and 25% commission? Do you want to tell me it's been collected just to merge riders and drivers alone?

I worked N200k and you collect N50k as commison
I buy fuel 40k to earn 200k
I eat at least 3k daily making an avrg of 20 weekly.
Car maintenance assume it to be 20k
Total: 50+40+20+20 =130k.
Bal: 200-130 = N70.

And you still want to tax me on that afyer paying commission of over 50k? to my app coy? Are you for real or you're joking?

Aren't the app coys paying tax to the government? All drivers provided a tax number during registration if I can remember vividly uber requested for it during signing up so what is expected is for them to provided our tax clearance papers at the end of every year accordingly.

So what else are you asking for again.

Evil people
Evil leaders
Evil political children which I'm very sure you're one of them.

VAT is a consumption tax. It's usually paid by the person enjoying the product/service. It can be charged as an extra cost or sometimes it's embedded in d cost of the service. Whichever way they want to do it, it's not partners that will bear that cost. Either they will charge VAT separately in addition to d fare like Bolt is doing with the 3% or they will increase fare to accommodate d VAT.
Since Uber/Bolt insist they are not a transport company but a technology company it means partners are the transporters, providers of the service and d collectors of payment reason why they need your TIN to tie all d VAT u generate.

Stop this thing bro.
Bolt increased ride fare by 3% and excluded drivers from it.
Why will they increase fare and keep drivers' earnings stagnant?

What're you even defending seff?

Abeg make una leave me jare. U have a point though, If u want us to protest and demand for increase in fare that's another discussion and I am for it. Cos cost of parts no be here.

But asking why Bolt included a charge to cover whatever cost they may be incurring is not a question for us to answer. As far as it's not we that are paying that extra 3%
Moreover, now that u understand the situation, why haven't u come out to say Bolt is not charging 23% they just stylishly increased fare while sidelining partners? Cos u guys are of the opinion that Bolt is now charging 23%.

They aren't showing breakdown doesn't mean there are hidden charges.

Programming an app to display certain features is not hard just like how they made drivers feel destination cannot be shown when you get requests.

They know their reasons for not breaking down the details and they know the reasons for not showing net earnings while they show gross. The gross will keep deceiving drivers thinking they are making money and that is the more reason why majority of bolt drivers say what they have at hand is different from app money. You see my friend, these are psychological done on drivers on purpose.

No Sir,
Use the basefare, distance and time and calculate your own money on every trip, as against what u collected from Rider. Anything ontop is for Bolt, do it like that and have peace of mind.

For the upteenth time, Bolt adds extra 3% charge to every fare, but that money is not for you. They collect it back with the normal 20% commission. That's why it looks like they are charging 23% but in actual sense without them adding the 3% d trips will not be as high as it now is.

With all these stories laid down, they are nothing if the fare is not increased by 7.5%.
Consumers are the end users which are the riders, hence the VAT should be on them, so why do they need the driver's TIN?
