Shehu has nothing to offer that's why he is playing in the backwaters of Europe.

There are too many player's in better league not even given a sniff.
Yes agreed but from 28 man list only Shehu can step in if Ndidi and Onyeka are not available due to one reason or the other.....

There is no way you can justify Shehu’s place when there is a Yusuf from the Belgian league and Conference league who could cover for both roles. Shehu na full time egunje dey keep am there

You have failed to hit the point. The point is, heis on a crash program to get the team up to speed. Draw up tactics. Analyse the opposition. Drop up strategies for separate oppositions.

He is assuring that even if it means going through sleepless nights, he will do it and assures the team will be ready
.

How did you read this as a defeatist mentality is what I don't understand.

The point i am making is: It shouldn't have cost him sleepless nights. The new names are just Olisa Ndah and Nwakali, Most fans are already in the know of the need for a player like Nwakali.

Even if it cost him sleepless nights, telling the public is not necessary.

I hope he is not trying to use these stories as an excuse for failure. A failure will always tell you about their efforts. That is the first thing they normally present.

A failure will tell you how what he has is not enough, for example in one of his most recent interviews, when queried about his proposed wing play he said that we are no longer in the days of Finidi and Odegbami before he now asked "what is the name of that Villareal boy" the manner at which he made the query revealed some sort of downsizing. You can search Youtube to view his interview with a personnel in NFF.

TheGoodJoe, life is predictable, and this is how some of us predict failure.
I pray someone very close to him corrects him.

How exactly do you want him to perform? No friendlies lined up for the team and we don't where they are camping. Many of the players will even be reporting to camp on Jan 3 (6 days to AFCON opener)
If he doesn't do well in this campaign, no one will be justified to call him a failure. PROPER PREPARATION PREVENT POOR PERFORMANCE

And his team mate's stood by and watched him, you don't assume that the players is playing by himself, as it seems you have done.

What did Vardy, Teilemans, Maddison, Barnes, Ademola and others do, dance and sing on the sidelines for him.

Nobody can contest with Vardy first name on the team sheet , consistent, continuous top goal scorer over past 7 seasons , no debate.

Consider this 14 games 2 goals for KC , Daka 7 games and two goals in the EPL this season. Who you would describe as his direct competitor.

But no you guys here forget, you look at players in isolation and claim bias.

In the HERE and NOW the reality is KC has not done enough this season in the HERE and NOW.
Isn't assist a contribution to goals?

Why do you ignore his 4 assists?

You've gone from 13 games of yesterday to 14 today.

Shey it is 1 game per day you're doing here?

Where do we place Harry Kane in the here and now?

Put me to shame by being blatantly honest for once grin

Since 2014 Harry Kane has been a consistent, continuous outstanding top scorer in the EPL that's 7 seasons. Add to that 67 games for England and 48 goals. He is absolutely a world class striker.

He has started the season poorly by his standards and his team has been poor as well. Nonetheless, after 16 games he has scored 4 goals.

In the HERE and NOW he has been poor by his standards.

Mr Man all this shalaye is unnecessary.

Whenever you make a stand point be a man and stick by it.

KC did well last season you say HERE and NOW. Ok he does well in the present you bring up previous poor seasons while ignoring your gospel of HERE and NOW. Please pick a struggle and stick to it.

Your obvious dislike for KC has rendered you incapable of objective analysis when it comes to the young man, because for some reason only you can explain, acknowledging when he does well makes you think you will have to eat your words when you passed judgment on his career.

Objectivity is learning how to judge each situation inspite of ones individual biases, but sadly you are so caught up in yours you can't even recognize it.

If KC performs poorly I can freely call him out, but you have backed yourself into a corner with so much negative vibes towards KC that it's almost haram for you to praise him without being cynical about.

Till today you have not acknowledged that you were mistaken when you claimed he wouldn't be able to get another EPL club.

All this fair weather unstable movement doesn't suit you.

Harry Kane is deliberately poor. He is tired of the club and wants to leave. Na force them take hold am. That's why I believe a player should be allowed to leave if he want to.

Lucky escape unfortunately Ndidi dives in and gives away penalty.

He is versatile and playing CB shows it.
