It has nothing to do with mediocrity, this a proper tournament, you cant be experimenting at tournaments, there's no guarantee that he hit the ground running with the team, club side performance does not always translate, Onuachu is a clear example!

If they beef up their defence in junuary they have a chance. That team probably has one of the most effective attacking force in the EPL but their defence is terrible.
