Now the thing is, are you in school and are you the only one that will be available to take care of the baby? If yes, then you can apply for visa and EA for your mum to come stating
the reasons you alone can't take care of the baby (I had this same experience). However, if you don't fall under those things I mentioned then getting a EA may not be possible. Everything else which can be, you are not a student and your husband is with you or you are a student and your husband is still with you so you wouldn't be needing extra help with the newborn.

Hence, only you knows your present situation and why you need extra help so use that analysis to weigh your chances of getting a EA.

The embassy expects her to give that job to the nannies so that they can earn their own pay.You can't classify your mother visiting you as an emergency.And she shouldn't even tell them that the sole purpose of her mother coming is to take care of her baby as that can even land her a denial.

I have applied for a US visa in 2016 but was denied , I can't remember the email used or the log on details. Can I create another profile with another email?

I am also trying to fill the Ds 160 form and I need to upload a passport with white background.

I have a white background passport but it is not same size as the US one. I used it for my schenghen visa, can I upload that one now and take the US size when going for my interview?

Or does the passport I use in the Ds 160 form have to be the same I present at the embassy?

If you check the US embassy website and this information is there, then it's true. What I know about Drop box is for current F1 students.

I and my Co-founder got invited by an accelerator in the US for the end of Jan. This is not our first time traveling but first time to the US.
The Accelerator is covering the trip and its a 4day program, they have sent an invitation letter, accommodation certificate.

Is there a way they can send an email to the embassy stating that they are inviting us- Is there an email for that?

We have filled the DS160 form and tried scheduling for an appointment but it keeps bringing up an error message. I saw on this thread that someone advised we send a mail, I have sent the mail not gotten any response yet.

Secondly, how do we book the appointment so we both have our interviews together?

Same issue I am experiencing , I sent a mail to the embassy not gotten a response till now. I want to try another browser too, I was using Chrome. If you scroll up you would see where someone was advised to send a mail and they will send you log on details. I also called the embassy and they said 2 business days. Still waiting though.
If you find a solution please let me know, that's the only thing remaining for me.
