Please I need a clarification on Tier 2 application. Can a tier 4 dependant start a job on a valid visa before applying for a tier 2 visa? The new company is happy to sponsor but wants him to start first since his current visa allows him to work and has not expired.

If:
a) you have a valid visa which entitles you to seek employment;
b) you have found employment;
c) the employer is prepared to employ you with your current immigration permission and has stated it is also prepared to provide you with the necessary means to change your status when that becomes necessary;
then
d) you should accept the employer's offer and commence employment as your visa allows you to do.

For the funds you need to keep in your account, the ECO uses oanda.com. For others such as visa and ihs payments, you have to source for that yourself.

Not in all cases. My collegue was charged 1,295 and her kids 951USD for IHS. Her course is for a year and half. It's a Tier 4 Visa

I think Some care homes are now sponsoring visa for people in the Uk .

His agency was paid off by his employer.

It’s a bit convoluted. Are their dad’s different? Why give 1 child and deny the other. Are you able to clearly state or post reason for your daughter’s denial? It will help people advice you well.

Won't you be very unsettled with this arrangement... if it was me ,I would be thinking of scrapping the masters and journey all together or deferring until it sorted

However u don't even know if the child who was given was given by accident ...however at this point if you proceed then it best to do an admin review for the child who was refused. Admin review takes months so factor that in

Exactly, the new scheme which will kick off by early next year's will make it easier for care givers to swicth to tier 2. Read it will run for a 12 months period.

I intend going to the UK through student route, do I need to be scared?
How do one know he/she is banned?

Not sure of Canada but they've explain reason for refusal, for UK refusal with a ban a certain section will be quoted. Plus if you've not used suspicious document, you have nothing to be scared of- here's assuming you saw what the agent submitted.
