Yes, she can apply while in Canada but let her bear in mind she would need to leave Canada before the visiting visa expires.

You would need to keep sending them an e-mail that your application has exceeded standard processing times and appeal for speedy processing of your application. Send via e-mail and webform. Click on the links below for webform and also send them e-mail via the e-mails below. I included London becuase they are mostly secondary office for majority of applicants. Regardless, your mails will be routed to the primary office processing your application.

I think you should exercise a little patience. Medical Authorization request is a good sign that the visa officer is satisfied with the eligibility of the applicant, not a 100% proof, but most cases positive.

No one will be able to tell you specifically when eligibility started since we are not privy to their internal workings but since you recieved a medical request and this updated to passed, keep hope alive.

The remark "we are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements" mostly does not change till the applicant gets a decision.

If the program she is going for is an exchange program or a program which is a pre- requisite to enter an undergraduate program then she can apply while she is in canada. But if it's an undergraduate program or postgraduate program then she must apply outside Canada. You can read more by clicking on the link to prevent her from getting into trouble

I just finished my biometrics today, what will be the next thing on my app, will there be any update on my application in my GC-key acct?

It is really not oo.. since my correspondence dropped on 24th of December, my heart has been cutting anytime I get a mail. I know it will end in praise.

Like I always advise applicants before embarking on the Canada study journey, you must really have a lot of patience cos the process of waiting for a decision can make someone depressed if you are not prepared for it..

This is my advise that will help a little, after applying for your Canada study permit and doing your biometrics, take off your mind from it and focus on other aspects of your life, I.e your Job, your business , your family e.t.c. Make sure you do somethings that engages your time and mind, do not put all your life around your Canada application, at least you had a life before Canada, so let it remain like that..

You can occasionally be checking your profile or your mails to see if there is any update from IRCC.. And this can be done once or twice a month, and not the every minute checking of your profile like some applicants here do..

This Canada Visa application is not for the faint hearted, this doesn't only apply to study permit application, Express Entry, Visiting Visa e.t.c also experience delays in final decision..

Despite the long wait and delay, it will surely end in oriase..

But Honestly speaking, Canada is worth waiting for..

Once you get to Canada, you will forget all what you went through enroute getting your Canada Visa..

If you scroll up a lil, you will see a post of an applicant who got to Canada 12 months ago advising that Canada is worth the wait....

Even some peeps that are in UK, still find their way to Canada..

Medicals- oct 28 updated to pass November 18th.

Keep sending them.mails very early in the morning, around 6:30am Nigeria time.
Also please try and get in touch with an MP.

Needed to clarify. Do you mean Plagiarism in letter writing. I agree that plagiarism is big offence, but not sure if that applies to every write-up.

I havent see where one can do reference on a letter.

Eligibility can start anytime, its not compulsory it starts before Medicals.. I have seen Eligibility got started and completed same day the applicant got his PPR, and this is much after Medicals have been passed...

Your application is in its final stage so be hopeful and positive..

I received a mail from Qlife on the 25th that my medical has been sent to IRCC. But have been checking my status since then and it has not been updated to pass or anything. So after work this evening i decided to check my application if the medical has been updated to pass. But to my greatest surprise i saw correspondence and ppr message it has been sent around 1pm or so but i just saw the message. My question now is that is it possible for IRCC to send ppr and not update my medical to pass yet.

This is like the third person you have scolded this month for posting this link without them making reference to you or stating "copied from you" at the end.

Aren't you all about helping people here? Why so bothered when a link is shared to also help people the way you do.

These links belongs to IRCC and you also got it from the NET which it's scattered as well.
Did you reference Ircc or did they come here to flag you for PLAGIARISM?
Not like it's a hidden thing or secret. That you need the praise and credit given to you Alone.
