IDENNAA: Oga I expect u to see nothing good in Lookman Please don't diss that player even though i know your sentiments and hatred for foreign born players most especially innit boys stink to high heavens Dude is way ahead of onyekuru currently. Rohr is not responsible for onyekuru failed club football, dude has refused to up his game For Lookman the super eagles needs him...the reason why the NFF is having rest over this matter is because he has not been fully cleared yet or else it would have been a serious issue 8 Likes 1 Share |

TheGoodJoe: Hopefully this is the case. Till we see him eventually. Etebo's role in last Afcon is the yardstick im using here, thus this Conclusion. |

TheGoodJoe:honestly I understand your point... It's not always about the club the player is in, but some people don't seem to understand. Skill set, players mentality(needed by the coach) and so many other attributes I only read, I don't comment here but people done too misunderstood you. 1 Like 1 Share |

I have 10 days to train I will trust a proven player in a higher league to adapt to various tactics if I plan to be dynamic. This man has one way he wants to play. Don't expect dynamism. Elock1: 1 Like |

Honestly, i feel sad with this....i remember the days of Leventis United, Flash flamingoes, Bcc lions, etc...We dont have a league again....imagine, players running to Sudan, lebanon, iran....Amaju and his Board members should be made to face an investigative panel. zuchyblink: 1 Like |

IDENNAA: The timeframe for geling together paid off at the Afcon Algeria won. Nwakali can't just come all of a sudden and bench those way ahead of him in the pecking order, unless the coach sees something we aren't seeing and throws him into the XI, which i am waiting to see. Its not about his invite now, but he breaking into the XI for this Tourney. |

Odunayaw:So a player's nationality switch is based on age and not application? For your information Caulker also played for the England senior team and scored on his debut. Did it delay his switch to Sierra Leone? |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Karlovych: 5:12pm On Dec 30, 2021 |
Danielnino00:So in your assertion Sierra Leone is more organized that they can process a nationality switch faster than Nigeria for a player that applied the same period with ours? Like I said Lookman has been cleared to play for Nigeria. |

kingphilip: Rohr was sacked because of how his team plays...it didn't impress the lost, wins and draws and this was because of team tactics and players fielded which all stems from players selection How Simon, Ekong and Collins etc kept playing nonsense and none got dropped played a role in the abysmal play of the super eagles Oga as it is now we expect whoever replaced rohr to do better in team selection, tactics and players management and fielding so using Rohr incompetence to justify Equeavon lopsided list is uncalled for |

Apparently Osimhen is still in Nigeria self-isolating after he tested positive. He informed Napoli about his current situation. After all the drama surrounding his non-participation or not I think he should just relax and fully recover from whatever injury or ailment. By God's grace there will be many tournaments to attend in the future. |

humility33:So how are you sure Eguavoen's tactics will end up same way? Wasn't it same Lampard players Tuchel inherited and won the champions league? So what changed? Watch Eguavoen and blast him for tactics and not players selection. 2 Likes 1 Share |

jihday: As far as I am concerned, Ikedia was ahead of Aghahowa in performance. I would even rate Abubakar Musa, even though he was playing with an injury ahead of Aghahowa. Either way, Aghahowa was exciting but was not popular until the goal against Costa Rica. Not enough to expect such performance at the AFCON. 2 Likes |

12large1: Actually 4/5 weeks the most contentious switch was Wilfred Zaha , who had played senior games for the national team. And was considered outstanding talent ,there was great RELUCTANCE by the English FA to release him. |

humility33:Oga humility when Ezenwa dey make eagles list as third choice keeper with Enyimba you no talk o. My man Rohr said it himself that his team selection was purely by him and nobody from NFF had any input cos he doesn't listen to them. Sir,you want Omeruo,Collins,Shehu,Olisa out and let me add to it I want Musa,Ekong,Zanusi out too but guess what, you can't discard 30% of your squad less than a month to a tournament. How I wish Akpoguma and Ebuehi made it but who to blame for that...I don't even know again cos if I mention Rohr na issue,Eguavoen wahala abi na Peseiro we go blame. My man make we just enjoy Afcon as the thing dey go. 2 Likes |

daveP: And how many times have we recited it here Nwakali was invited for his skill set which none of your current midfielders have. For the last time , Nwakali is there to coordinate and orchestrate play from the midfield. After I have already spelled it out you would still come with another perplexing comment. 1 Like |
