Oga I expect u to see nothing good in Lookman

Please don't diss that player even though i know your sentiments and hatred for foreign born players most especially innit boys stink to high heavens

Dude is way ahead of onyekuru currently. Rohr is not responsible for onyekuru failed club football, dude has refused to up his game

For Lookman the super eagles needs him...the reason why the NFF is having rest over this matter is because he has not been fully cleared yet or else it would have been a serious issue

When has any English born player ever impressed you , or brought glory to Nigeria, apart from Ikeme ?

I am waiting.

By the way , yes , I have no confidence in those English groomed players. I , however , believe in the talent and future of my Nigerian bred talents.

Una no dey tired of unending Argument? Decision is made, List is out, nothing anyone says can make a Difference.

Gatecrashing a Tournament List shouldn't be new to us again..... seem we forget even Haruna Lukman surprisingly made WC List under a foreign Coach?!

Nwakali is as talented as his Mates presently in the Super Eagles. He lost his way, but he seems ready to redeem his Career.

Maybe he's gonna be our Joker at the Tournament. Maybe he's gonna complete our Puzzle, especially as far as Midfield is concerned.

Coach Austin has made it clear he needs a Midfielder like Oliseh who can play long ball effortlessly and effectively. None of our present Midfielders can do that - to be honest.

Ndah is a ball playing Defender. Aerially he's so commanding, so why the fuss? Is it because he's playing in Africa?!

Let's calm down until we see them in Matches, then we can justify, criticise their Inclusions.

And how many times have we recited it here Nwakali was invited for his skill set which none of your current midfielders have.

For the last time , Nwakali is there to coordinate and orchestrate play from the midfield.

After I have already spelled it out you would still come with another perplexing comment.

Is not about his skill set but geling with the team under such a short time and in a major tourney. Those are just my concerns. Nothing more.

Meanwhile , remember Osimhen and Chukwueze were once teammates at Chile U17 , where Nwakali bossed the field and also captained the team. Therefore , I disagree slightly he wouldn't gell with the team.

Additionally , do not forget Nwakali is a product of the Nigerian football system. Hence , the issue of blending with the team is hardly a thing of bother.

Remember when Eguavoen was announced as coach, I said I am most interested in his philosophy.

Fortunately for us he did that video and unlike lots of coaches, we have an idea into his mind.

One thing he talked about was a midfielder dictating play from deep with long balls.

I doubt that anyone here can not guess the player that has this skillset. As soon as he said it, I understood why Kelz Nwakali is important to him.

Then he talked about building from the back with passes. Keep in mind, Rohr has been terrible with this. Over the years we did not work on it.

In that Ndah clip someone posted, I watched his movement during short passes and his decision making during the process. I said to myself, no wonder Eguavoen wants him in camp.

So, it is still my view from what I have studied. I will prefer any opposite view to come with tactical or strategic backing.
I hope you know that Eguavoen's interview wasn't done after he was appointed as interim coach?

Ronaldinho has far more quality on the ball than Roman Riquelme. Pellegrini said he prefers Riquelme over Ronaldinho. Why?

Riquelme suits his tactical plan.

Tactics rules today. If your quality does not meet the tactics, it is no use to the coach.
Omo Goodjoe don change from quality to tactics. At this rate are you sure a time will not come when it is machines that will be found fit enough for this abstraction called tactics?

It still doesn't change the centee hold of his philosophy. He want to play possessive football and fleeting attacking system. That's all I need to know.

Sadiq Umar Don land for camp

Eguavon chose Sadiq Umar because of his creativity.
He is a creative forward with 7 assists allready this season.
A team that struggles to create chances from midfield needs a creative forward like Sadiq Umar.
He can play a a support striker, wing forward, striker and made to roam the final third
while he scores goals and creates chances.
people here wont see things this way and claim he is not good.
But skillset matters in football.
What a player has to offer and how he fits into the system
can be more important than where he plays.
In fact, Man city were once interested in him which shows how technically astute and creative he is.
Guardiola cannot like a player that is not creative and technical

Nwakali is going to be gradually introduced into the team. Against Egypt expect the usual but more attacking starting eleven.

You guys are overreacting. You're reading meaning to too many things about the team.

NFF announcing their new coach is a professional move and the players are professionals too and they're part of the federation in their own way.

Its necessary for the players to be aware as they're representing Nigeria and NFF not the coaches.

Moreover, The new coach would be watching so it has no difference as the new coach will be observing.

So stop all these unnecessary assumptions and ignorance.
