Thank goodness. FIFA has cleared Ashleigh Plumpture to play for Nigeria. Her switch was fast unlike another Leicester male player whose nationality switch process has been for years now.

Sadiq is as technical, as good a finisher, as fast (or even faster I think), much taller, much more physical and commanding etc. The only aspect I rate Dessers higher than Sadiq is in positioning and Sadiq is still not too far behind in that aspect too.

Personally, I will rather invite a midfielder as osimehn replacement. Someone like onyedika, nwaobodo or ejaria if he has been cleared instead of another striker/forward. We already have 9 forwards listed aside of osimehn but there isn’t enough midfielders. For example, assuming ndidi or onyeka gets injured or suspended, we would have to select a “listed defender” (shehu or awaziem) as their replacement instead of just inviting a natural Midfilder.
