Replacing Osimhen with Onyekuru is bias and cheating

that set-piece part is true. In 2009 Saudi Arabia lost out of World Cup qualification after conceding a 93rd minute corner kick to Bahrain, a must win match ended at 2-2. The defending from the corner was very poor

Una no dey tired of unending Argument? Decision is made, List is out, nothing anyone says can make a Difference.

Gatecrashing a Tournament List shouldn't be new to us again..... seem we forget even Haruna Lukman surprisingly made WC List under a foreign Coach?!

Nwakali is as talented as his Mates presently in the Super Eagles. He lost his way, but he seems ready to redeem his Career.

Maybe he's gonna be our Joker at the Tournament. Maybe he's gonna complete our Puzzle, especially as far as Midfield is concerned.

Coach Austin has made it clear he needs a Midfielder like Oliseh who can play long ball effortlessly and effectively. None of our present Midfielders can do that - to be honest.

Ndah is a ball playing Defender. Aerially he's so commanding, so why the fuss? Is it because he's playing in Africa?!

Let's calm down until we see them in Matches, then we can justify, criticise their Inclusions.

Haruna Lukeman rightly replaced injured Mikel Obi because he was arguably the best available player behind Mikel then.

He was outstanding for Monaco that season.

Like IDENNA said prejudice needs no qualification. Contextual usage will tell if it is positive or negative and nowadays it is used more in the negative so that qualifying it as negative prejudice when the context already depicts that it is used in the sense of bias against a thing or person or circumstances is superfluous.

I am not a big fan of Osimhen's aggresive style but honestly speaking, I would have probably replied the same way.

Which one is 'you have covid or not'? Is that how to ask a question? undecided

IMO (I know TheLoneCitizen won't like this) from what I have watched of both, Sadiq is a better striker than Dessers is. Sadiq is as technical, as good a finisher, as fast (or even faster I think), much taller, much more physical and commanding etc. The only aspect I rate Dessers higher than Sadiq is in positioning and Sadiq is still not too far behind in that aspect too.

No, brother. Actually I love the fact that you rate Sadiq that highly.

If you check my posts, you will notice that along with Iheancho, Dessers and Sadiq are the only players I rate as complete strikers in Nigeria.

If you rate one above the other, who am I to contest that? It's your opinion.

The most important thing is that you acknowledged quality.

The fact that a site like OwnGoalNigeria doesn't know that Onyekuru is permanently an Olympiacos player is shocking.

There are several people here who say Zaidu Sanusi is not goo enough and lacks positional intelligence
but he keeps entering the first team of porto despite competition from wendel.
I dont understand but i believe he must be a good player to be in porto first team and play so many matches a season.
He even had 2 key passes in this match which shows he can create chances

I hope you know Eguavoen has been in camp with Ndah and Nwakali before.

Just pray this Equeavon does not flop
Because with this tactics you guys are using to defend his lopsided list

A man that spend minutes talk on how the 1994 team plays instead of revealing his own team tactics and approach to games but instead all he was dishing out was westerwolf tactics and team play.

I am not worried..been that after afcon he will be replaced and when Pinnick leaves him and Aigbogun will leave with him

Some of this Indigenous Coaches always proves the fraud and corrupt nature that have limited their progress all this while

Right in Leicester you will see the Kolou Toure cutting it in coaching same with Yaya Toure in Russia and Frimpong in Switzerland and many other Africa countries ex players but for our ex internationals nothing of such to be attached to them....all they talk when opportune reveal team tactics is to reveal how the 1994 team plays as if the 1994 team won a world cup or even got to the semi finals of the mundial

Keep raising the embers of mediocrity will remind u when the Coach You're busy defending shows how inept he is

Nobody here fault his inclusion in the 28 man list

It is the inclusion of names like Omeruo, Ndah, Collins and Shehu that raised dust in that defense

If Eguavoen flops, he is not the first to flop. Diego Simeone got River Plate relegated. It did not stop him from turning out a great coach.

Secondly, that video was about the philosophy of Nigerian football. As the Technical Director of the NFF.

Eguavoen before becoming Interim Coach of the Super Eagles has been hosting coaching clinics and teaching young coaches. He was doing that because he believes there should be one philosophy for Nigerian teams with variations with respect to individual choices of coaches, cutting across all teams.

So he wants all levels of Nigerian teams to play in a particular manner just as it happens in Spain and Holland.

So that breakdown video was the idea of his philosophy and the different coaching styles he fused to come up with it.

So contrary to the campaigns you guys are trying to make, that video was a breakdown of his philosophy.

Let’s not call our brother a “fraud” without evidence. Personally, I disagree with some of his selections but calling him fraud without any corroborative evidence is wrong.. remember that Keshi used homegrown talent like oboabona and mba ahead of established players like igiebor and yobo and still won an ANC..

Some of you are forgetting Eguavoen was the on-field captain of Clemens Westerhof when we won the AFCON in 1994. So he had a big understanding of the tactics and it plays a big part in the way the team will play.

I am hoping for the best of the team and pray the guys do very well in the competition.

I am not just praying for Eguavoen to have a good tournament. I am praying for the team to win that cup. That is my hope and prayer.

I wonder what yours is.

I pray God grants us victory.
