But once again, energy is energy. The management of stored energy is what has failed here not the type of energy after all a full tank of gasoline has a potential chemical energy equivalent to about 65 kilowatt hours, similar to the battery charge in most electric automobiles. If you keep your gasoline engine running, sooner or later you will need a tow or a can and an okada or a tio... |

ahuja12: There are two types of Nigeria: poor and rich. The story that most of know is the former. In many highbrow parts of Lagos, they enjoy 24 hour power supply. There are many places in Lekki that can boast of one month without power cut. Whenever their power goes off, they restore it in a split second. It's just unfair and lachrymose that Nigeria expects everyone to be rich to enjoy basic things that people enjoy in even poorer countries in Africa. 1 Like |

Eriokanmi:People don't realize that these people in power don't really have our affairs at hand. I and a friend of mine met with one of the close associates of the Imo State governor (Hope Uzodimma) so he'll help us get access to the governor to submit a proposal that would've greatly helped the security situation in the state. The man told us that, while our idea was great, he has to be honest with us and told us that if the government doesn't see an avenue to use the proposal to collect funds, they wont approve it. I was disgusted. That was where everything ended 1 Like |
