So, what legitimate reason do they have to refuse Dennis arrival at Afcon?
I'm saying if that's their reason then its not legitimate, because we're calling up replacements who were not previously informed.

Not everytime blame NFF, if CAF didnt complain that we sent in our list late, why would any club make that complaint and no other club complained o. What's so special about Watford?

Is like you don’t know the FA that you’re dealing with. Go and read about cauker vs ademola lookman case

Striker's well outstanding ones are always on the move, because there is an incessant demand for strikers across all leagues.

Why then has he remained in the Segunda Division for two seasons.

Because Almeria put a hefty price tag on him.
In fact, a lot of clubs (including villareal were interested. Villareal could have brought him if not for the thirty million price tag
and so they brought the Senegalese guy from France instead.
Another bidding war is comming up next summer and even this January Newcastle are interested.
He has been noticed and analyzed by a lot of clubs allready.
His analysis is on
https://totalfootballanalysis.com/article/umar-sadiq-at-almeria-202122-scout-report-tactical-analysis-tactics
which is a respected football analysis platform.
Many teams are interested.
In fact Man city are interested but they want to loan him to troyes in the French league for a year first
and so next summer will be big for him

Do not expect magic. One can easily assess a team's chances after the group games. It's easy, just remove your emotions and affinity to any team. After the group games, I will know our chances.

If it is true, the NFF won't win.. Watford will present good evidence against them... To them, they didn't get the official invitation at the time stipulated by FIFA, so they have every right to hold on to the player...

Is there even a thing as deadline for clubs in Afcon invitations? I think Watford are fighting with their last breath for Emmanuel Dennis but if NFF let's this slide it sets a dangerous precedent for clubs disrespecting Afcon in the future, I think NFF is already covered by Fifa, if for any reason you stop your player from going to Afcon, that player does not play for you during the tournament

Yes, enough is enough. If we’re going to hire foreign coaches because of lack of competence, foreign administrators has to also be employed.. how can someone possibly forget the deadline to send player invitation?? So, they sent ekong name on time while not sending Dennis name?

Watford has no right to keep him.
Instead of fighting for Emmanuel dennis pinnick was fighting for Osimhen.
We can still get Dennis if we press home our issue.
Dennis himself should insist on going.
Nff should not allow themselves to be taken for granted

one thing I don't like pinnick for is the fact that dude doesn't know how to use his power to the nations advantage only for his selfish interest..

Many times has nations and clubs overide us when we have someone like pinnick at the helm of affairs..

But if it is home politics and how to siphone funds, he will come first..

I bet this shiit can't happen in south Africa, see how they used their blood to foght for that Ghana foul goal(irrespective they lost)..
Ill forever hate pinick if he chickens out on these bullies angry

Nigerian origin player's sourced and or developed from our local leagues, understand " How things are Done"

That , "how things are done" starts from the youth teams, and the various god father's that dictate matters .

I am yet to find a Nigerian local coach that has no conflicting personal interests and or not involved in very questionable decisions.

Rohr has gone, it's now business as usual.

100% speculation from the deepness of your bias hatred towards our local scene. How can you make such a distasteful comment?

They have the right to hold the player but what happens to courtesy. This is a low one from Ranieri. Disappointed in him. Other clubs likely received their letter late but they are releasing the players.

Of course, there's a deadline attached to this kind of thing... But the fact that Ekong isn't having any issue with his own call up shows something funny is up..
The real question now is whether the NFF are willing to go all out to punish Watford...I doubt they will do that....

Rohr pampered him by making him feel like the RB role was his own, despite the availability of Ebuehi and Aina...

Can't blame the man... His team has a terrible defense as it is, so their attack spearheaded by Dennis is their last resort to surviving relegation...

ranieri is a fool and will get Watford relegated..
How come he didn't resist troost ekong but resisited Dennis from joining us? Abi Dem send them different mails?

I hope the nff punishes whoever thinks he is bigger than eagles by snubbing them in subsequent events

No need calling Ranieri a fool. He wants to hold his prized asset and Dennis looks likely the one to save them from relegation. No need to punish Dennis too. It is not his fault. He wanted to come but Ranieri has resisted.

Seems Italians are highly disrespectful in nature. We had this problem with Conte regarding Mikel and Victor Moses. Now Ranieri is doing the same. Wish Dennis the best. We will surely miss him but will keep supporting him as he fights for Watford.

Updated Eagles list

Dennis, Osimhen, Shehu, Balogun Out

Olayinka, Onyekuru, Ebuehi, Ajayi in

Our top players out? Well, we have good ones to replace them.

We now have Ighalo, Awoniyi and Sadiq as the main strikers though Peter and Iheanacho can somehow slot in.
