He probably didnt know the opportunity before him, and that Nigerians now love him. But he just threw all that away for Watford that will sell you tomorrow. undecided

I would rather not blame him.

I blame NFF and Watford, but I cannot blame Dennis, because I genuinely do not expect him to go against those who pay his salary. It seems like a small thing to do, but he fit go AFCON come back, dem go freeze am out of the team and then it will be hard to even get interested clubs, except he pulled a madness at AFCON

But this is another thing...national team football also allows a player sell his market and he has missed out on that opportunity, perhaps because he doesn't feel he needs it.

Still, I cannot fault him for something mostly beyond his strength. Also consider that Nigeria really doesn't care for their players either. If he go the AFCON collect long term injury, Nigeria will not feed him

So, that one too dey.

All in all, na NFF allow this loophole wey Watford exploit.

Even Osimhen who is a much better talent than Dennis has not asked for role clarification before answering national team call ups, imagine responding to your first tournament invitation by asking your role in the team thereby disrespecting the coach and the country,he thinks he can succeed without Nigeria we wish him all the best

Agreed.

But Henry came in as a winger for Dennis.

We have players in the past that got frozen out if their teams because they honored NT call up. He is not better than them. Eg. Mikel.

Answer my own question first, forget Awoniyi name. Who be the better attackers wey for bench Dennis?

Better O, not the ones he is at par with. You said we have better based on current form. Who and who?

grin

Common...... never use the word in my Post, you may need to check again.

Moses Simon has scored 2 goals and 8 assists for his Club this Season.

Taiwo Awoniyi has scored 10 Goals and 1 assist this same Season.

Sadiq Umar with 8 Goals and 6 Assists so far.

Ejuke with 4 Goals and 3 Assists......

We still have Chuks, Iheanacho, Musa and Ighalo...... they have been tested and trusted.

Dennis has 8 Goals, 5 Assists so far this Season. What makes him better to start ahead of Sadiq and Awoniyi?

You don't get it.

Apart from being very popular now unlike before, Dennis is now scoring goals and creating goals. People now like him very much. And you know in Nigeria once the crowd, the mob, all loves you, you will win.

Thats what he lost. He lost a walk-in to the first eleven.

grin

..... coz he's playing in the EPL. Awoniyi has 10 Goals to his name already in German League while Dennis has scored just 8 Goals.

He will play
I expect Peseiro to invite him
The new Coach knows he needs our best players to succeed
I know he plays attacking football
He will not ignore Dennis like Rohr did
Expect to see him for the WC Qualifiers
First of all, you are not Peseiro. Secondly NFF can axe a player and Peseiro will do nothing.

I wonder why you people don't see this as a big deal. This is the indiscipline we are talking about. Players are now bigger than the National team. Especially the homegrown ones. We're missing Osimhen and Onuachu and Dennis wants to be loyal to his club and not help us out. Fine and Good. He should focus on Watford then. National team is not where you breeze in and out at your own convenience. During the World Cup, he can go to beach or wherever. He mustn't play for us.

You don't have to announce via a press conference before rejecting the call up. Go and read what you understand by Ranieri's comment. Try and understand it.

my own is that if he can't stress himself playing for Nigeria, he shouldn't play at all again. Let him face one place.

No North African team will play in the final. Thus Afcon is for Cote 'd' Ivoire, Senegal or Cameroun taking.
This is Central Africa not North Africa histing it. Like Zuby...use to say its not for the "broilers" grin

Thanks for use that conditional sentence....guy we can not win the Afcon...Amaju and his Board knows that the Afcon is for jamboree, they are only preparing for the world cup qualifier.

Lower your expectation and enjoy the Afcon....Dennis will come back to the team for the qualifier in March.
PurpleHouse:
Trust me, Dennis will regret his action for the rest of his career. Should we win Afcon, his national team dream is dead. And one day, he will give an interview of how Ranieri messed his ambition up.

We dey here dey wait.

Watford is paying his Bills not NFF. He needs Watford in EPL for his Career sake. He gets to where he is today without Eagles Call-up.

I really don't understand you Guys. When United needed Bailly, he flew back to England to play for the Club yesterday.
