NFF is not in charge of callups. But the likes of Oparanozie have been suspended in the past.

And they didn’t suspend our olosho masters grin

This Dennis wey we dey clamour for sef.. for a better part of his career, he isnt a consistent player

Atleast right now he is finding a level of consistency, hopefully he plays well for his club and safe them from relegation

It's his career. He can't serve two masters at a time. Watford has shown so much faith in him than all the other African players (who opt to go to AFCON), so it's logical that he is the only one to stay behind and save his club
That guy better go to a top 8 club at the end of the season

I'm surprised at the way a lot of people are reacting to this Dennis issue. If you think about it logically, Ranieri may be right actually. Watford and the NFF (or at least Pinnick) have a good relationship. They have at least 5 Nigerian players in their squad. They even signed Okoye out of nowhere, before the transfer window when no one even thought of or expected it. We don't really know the details of their discussion. Perhaps NFF let it go in good faith.

Besides, Watford are desperate. They're battling relegation and they need their talisman. They don't have players that can step up and they need Dennis more than we do anyway. Let's cut him some slack. He was clearly excited to be part of the Afcon team. The whole thing might just be out of his hands.

"For a better part of his career"

I wasn't comparing him with anyone else, I was just stating what is known to everyone..

I don't think he ever had a good goalscoring run bar the one he is having now

Well, at the end, I wish him well and above all, the GWG is bigger than any player

If it was a gentleman agreement between the two, why did the NFF say the club was "baring fangs". Abi na me no understand English ni?
