ChrisKels: Couldn't agree more.. Rohr was so conservative in his managerial approaches even when it comes to selecting players.. Another case here is Ebere Eze. After the world cup,it was glaring that our midfield needed reinforcement and Eze was available at that time..It was just one year after he was part of the team camping in London.. But for some funny reasons Rohr continued to stick with Mikel, Ndidi, Etebo and Ogu as his midfield options.. The result manifested at the AFCON when our midfield became weak when Iwobi was off form.. Til now, we are still suffering from the lack of creative midfielders... 7 Likes |

I hear you bro but my criticism of Ndidi's game in the GWG is with the belief he can do more. Is it to much to ask him make accurate long balls once in a while to KC in the SE like he does with Leicester? Even his tackling stats and interceptions look to be lower with the national team in comparison with his club side. If you have stats that say otherwise I will gladly withdraw my assertion. If an experienced coach like Eguavoen who has also played the game says he feels Ndidi is holding back that should tell you something. Ndidi is our best DM but he can be much more, that's my argument. charlesemeka85: |

Uzoho Ndah Awaziem Aina zaidu ndidi Nwakali Chukwueze Ejuke Iheanacho Awoniyi. Someone pls forward this to eguaveon..with this line-up, no African team can beat d super eagles. Breakdown: Uzoho more confident in goal for me than dat oyibo Ndah is more aggressive and composed than ekong Awaziem is d best of all our defenders in recent time.. Aina and zaidu offer lots more TECHNICALLY as wing backs(if u know wat I mean). Ndidi holding forth Infront of our defenders offers more grit and solidifies our defence. Nwakali does the long diagonal passes so perfectly plus he's best suited for d box to box play. Ejuke and chukwueze on the wings will wreck inestimable havoc on any defence in d world. Iheanacho comes in as the false 9, playing d role of supporting striker....the best position to apply him in order to bring out d beast in him. Awoniyi is a born goal poacher...he's osimhen extra..i.e he has all d qualities of osimhen combined with wat osimhen lacks. I think awoniyi and nwakali will be d major revelations in this afcon....WATCHOUT. 3 Likes |

andrewbaba44: Most people are yet to realize that football has evolved. They are obsessed with football in the past. Very few teams NOW play what many refer to as "number 10". As talented as JJ Okocha is, many do not even realize that most of today's coach will bench him or insist that he evolves 1 Like |

BOOOMNAIJA:Nice suggestion but have nwakali been tested well in that position, is not when we put him there, the midfield becomes scattered..... Sometimes we don't appreciate iwobi's job in eagles shirt... 2. Aina is good but if we need someone that will support chukwueze in attack especially when we need goals, I think Ebuehi will fit in. 3. I would have preferred 4-3-3 oo 5 Likes |

Gammfreak: I am so happy with call ups for Ajayi, Olayinka and Ebuehi I have always admired Olayinka reason him being a very good LWF that can score and assist so well....he is unselfish and knows when to release the ball. Rohr never gave him a fair trail so with him on that wing I am relaxed if he gets to play Semi AJAYI is one player that won't make me miss Akpo much. He can use his head and he is goal scoring defender though he won't provide Balogun experience wholesale but he is someone that makes for versatility too as a DM he is better than Innocent Bonke when it comes to DM role for super eagles... I like him and I pray he brings his A game to bare For Ebuehi we all know his commitments, the spirit he brings to camp and discipline. Dude never got angry or speak rude words when be kept sitting on the bench for shehu and others ROHR kept him on the bench whenever he gets invited and sometimes he is on standby list but still he kept calm and didn't make noise. Such a player has character and will not disrupt the team when he does not get to play for tactical reasons and when he gets to play we know what he brings to the table. Since Coach Austin made this additions I have relaxed and seek to enjoy the show and wish him well For Henry Onyekuru I pray he shines though i would have prefer Dessers...Rohr is to be blamed for that though very annoying coach 10 Likes |

charlesemeka85: May e dey use e head He is a tall player, him,Ekong, balogun etc and still can't use their head score goals when we have corner kicks. Yobo was exceptional in this light I just want this aforementioned players to bring something within them to boast their offensive prowess |
