Could it be an error and they meant 7th instead or they are asking me to return my passport as I opted for the keep my passport option.

Not an error, ignore the mail.... It's just a reminder mail of the previous appointment u choose...but u have done walk in...so it's not issue...they will keep sending u a reminder mail till on the 7th... Just ignore ...no issue at all

You don’t need nysc certificate for study visa processing....... Just your academic certificates.....you’re good to go

I had the same issue. Do a paid mail explaining that you need the soft copy of your brp letter. That was how I got mine. I printed it before traveling and showed it to the border control officer

Just send in your NYSC certificate, all employment letters, promotion letters and also further studies you have taken if you have any, you can also do a small introduction letter to explain certain things provided you need explanation on something.

Documents uploaded for both applications on the 11th of Dec.
Biometrics; 13th Dec TLS Abuja (paid for Priority, but ended up as Standard)
Application moved to DMC; 13th Dec
Received at DMC; 14th Dec
Decision made; 22nd Dec (got to know from the letter that came with the passport)
Transferred to VAC; 30th Dec
Received at VAC; 30th Dec
Collection mail; 30th Dec
Dispatched through DHL; 30th Dec
DHL delivered; 31st Dec
No NSF mail, Didn’t send paid email.
Documents submitted:

With your first class, go for top schools. Go for Universities in the top 10, 15 or top 20. Forget about their fees ( cos it’s expensive). Apply for scholarship, atleast you should be able to get a £10,000 or 50% off your tuition. When you remove the £10,000, you will end up paying what you would have paid if you got the normal £2000 discount offered to Nigerians in most uk schools. Don’t feel like you won’t get the admission, trust me, first class is a master key, it can open so many locks. You have worked for a first class, enjoy the benefit that it brings. Good luck.

The date will still reflect in your application even after you have done biometric

1. University of Chester- Application submitted November 30.
2. Coventry University- Application submitted December 17.
3. Northumbria University- Application submitted December 17.

Please note: these applications were submitted by one of the school's representatives and I received a confirmatory message from each of the schools with my login details given to me.

Congrats. Please did you get collection mail for the dependents? In my own case family of 4 as well, I have collection mail for main applicant only while the dependents are still at the DMC stage.

He will be back before his visa expires. Will this era of long wait to renew passport, can he still use this passport or must the passport have a 6 months validity to enter UK? Thanks

u dnt need 6 months passport validity to enter UK. My cousins came with nigerian ppt expiring in 3 months. Nobody asked them nothing about passport validity at border.
