This better bang to at least "sweeten" the bitter taste that the GOT finale left in people's mouth. I have personally not be excited so far about the trailer i have seen of it but hey, I hope I am proved wrong cuz 9 times out of 10, HBO makes a proper series.

And don't believe a word from GRRM lol. This man wants to cash out steady from HBO till infinity so he wouldn't mind if they make thousands of series about the GOT universe becuz it means more money for him.

I have confidence in this cos it's HBO and mainly because a whole pilot episode from a previous prequel (The Long Night) was shelved, despite splashing $30mn for that episode.
I think he's heavily involved in this, with some more creative power in the story. The main sweetener about this storyline is that it is finished already in the books and not one that fans will chronically wait for years just for Martin to complete it.

GOT is going BIG this year man.
There's one anime/animation adaptation of the Yi Ti Empire I'm gladly waiting for.

GOT has been too slow in expanding. That world is vast as Bleep.

Time to start a reading plan for the upcoming Dance of the Dragons. embarassed

The very same way we had confidence in HBO to deliver a proper finale to GOT after an amazing 7 years only for DB and DW to mess it up with piss poor writing and GRRM not finishing the book isn't an excuse because it even gave them more creative freedom to do a top tier finale so forgive me if i am skeptical about HOD because i have been burnt before.
